the keypad's paint tend to peel off after excessive usage. like the case of K800i. mine still looks okay after 2 months. think u can try get the phone skinned to overcome it.

skinning is like applying an extra thin layer of skin protection over your phone. this service is available @ Lowyat Plaza 7 major shopping malls. something like laptop's skin but thinner. the skin can be transparent too. means you still can see your black casing.

as long as you take good care of it, don't use your nails to tap the keys & don't drop it, it'll be fine.

but the problem is why do SE phones tend to have manufacturing defects? keypad peeling, keypad cracks etc.

think its the only Nokia phone which has this peeling problem right? anyway, SE has been improving on its quality. can see that on K850i & P1i.

don't think it will burn the IC as long long you don't use it at max volume. not all sounds drivers are compatible with all types of models. there are actually specific drivers for specific models.

u can try to get them from HERE. but all the words are in russian. translate them using Google Translate & then register as a member then you can start downloading the drivers. or you can try looking for it @ Esato or SE-NSE forums.

it's kinda cheap these days for the replacement of the joystick right? still prefer D-pad on K770i. missed it.

never heard or encounter the keypad/D-pad being loose or whatsoever. the only problem is with the keypad peeling off. but think new sets doesn't face it already. mine still looks perfectly fine after 2 months before i sold it off. no regrets getting this phone, bro. trust me.

picture quality in dark area will not be as detailed & nice as ones taken by K800/K810 but still acceptable. since it only has LED flash.

update the software? how did u try to update it? i reflashed mine few times & still able to mod the sound driver after that.

T650i's design looks to odd to me. especially the keypad & the bright green colour. K770i still owns.

first, refer to members in the forum which has the same phone. list down all that are in the original package. it's hard to determine its fake or not but try to make sure everything looks new & functioning.

get your sets from 1st tier AP companies. recommended ones are Telstra, Asia Mobile, Final Choice & few others.

try to check the phone's system information @ the Control Panel. whether do you have an APAC set or from other continents. if not, you gotta do a full reflash. with a APAC FS (File System).

AFAIK, purple is the premium color. sellers usually sell purple sets at higher price. sandy beige & truffle brown are considered as the normal ones. should be priced the same.

i don't think it will damage the phone's speaker as long as you don turn the volume too loud. or else even the sound quality will be affected.
