Thank you for the enormous input. I used all the info I got from you all to goreng the selesman at the gallary hahaha. So far I've tried Normal foam - cheopo soft. I think not good for the spine. Won't last long obviously. Latex - Comfortable, soft, but did not 'force' my posutre to a correct one imo. 'High-density foam spring' - Quite expensive than the others. Comfortable like hotel one. For spine wise, hmm so-so i guess. Coconut fibre - Wow..... hard like lying on the floor. I can see myself to get used to it, but at the moment....wow...dem hard hahaha. The pro is my spine is 'forced' to be on a correct position. High density foam - This is best of both world. Stiff enough to make my spine into correct position, but not that hard like lying on the floor. I think its either coconut fibre or high density foam. Both from the Mastercoil brand. Just need some time to rethink *btw I am a 100% back sleeper. Mirage64 liked this post

I used all the info I got from you all to goreng the selesman at the gallary hahaha. you can get coconut fibre mastress with a thin layer of memory foam matress topper. that should provide enough support to you while not feeling "so hard"..So far I've tried Normal foam - cheopo soft. I think not good for the spine. Won't last long obviously. Latex - Comfortable, soft, but did not 'force' my posutre to a correct one imo. Seems like his whole family have back prob and solved using coconut fibre mattress. @gogo2 & majority who replied also recommend coconut fibre, so can ask them their experience.I maybe gonna buy both coconut fibre & high density foam. Whichever perform less will be dump to the guest room hahaha. So maybe I will try 2 weeks each & will tell you my feedback. Though I doubt my review will be helpful for you since you already spent 1k-4k and it isn't helping. These matress is nowhere near 1k hahaha |

As an older person, normally we want medium firm - firm mattresses. Avoid the soft mattresses.she is more to side sleeper nowadays due to rounded back However it also depends on your mum's personal preference as well as how severe the curve is. 100% coconut fibre isn't really good if the curve is severe, so you may want to look at the hybrids. My friend has a hunch over, and he uses some pillows to help support. If possible, maybe can buy one hybrid mattress and ask her to try? If it doesn't work then go for something firmer or softer. |
