Hello guys, this is regarding mysejahtera app. I've face this issue several times. What happen is the app keep running in the background without me noticing untill I checkup in the morning. This will cause battery to drains a lot.
What more confusing is I've already turn off the background refresh for it. The only way to not let this happen agains is via logging out the app after using it.
But it will be quite a hasssle to login n out if we area out and about going places to scan it at different locations every times. Any of you guys having the same issues?
What your iOS version? So far I didn't facing mysejahtera drain a lot battery Shopee drain more battery than mysejahtera
That’ll be quite long to go isn’t it, seeing that iPhone 11 is still listed until today. I fully expect IPhone 12 to be available alongside 13 for a year. At way less than today of course. Near to IPhone 11 prices today, is easy to conjecture.
There is also a possibility they discontinue the 12 and keep the 11 as the entry level, cheaper iPhone in their official line-up, but of course resellers and dealers will have plenty of stocks. Maybe they'll keep the 12 Mini if there is no 13 Mini just as an option for those who want a smaller phone and discontinue the SE? But I hope you're right and they keep the 12. I used it for several months and loved it - great balance between performance, size, weight and handling. My only complaint would be the battery life could be slightly better especially for heavy users.

Mysejahtera app is using battery for its background activities. Even when I switched off to disallow background activities, it persists. I’ve posted reviews to the app developer and after 2 versions, it is still doing it.

Ya, I noticed this too on my iPhone 11. Hope the developer does something about it....

Exactly the same issue happens to me, even I've already off background activities. It still keep running. Then decided to uninstall it.

how to live in Malaysia without Mysejahtera?
Malaysians are locked into this app. It is the SUPER-app of our government. I find that killing/closing this app manually will stop the background activities. It is a decent solution. :-)
Anyone is still using 12 mini? You guys are still happy with it? I was planning to join in soon. What are your thoughts. I don't think battery is really that much of an issue since can just bought MagSafe powerbank from 3rd party

As you mentioned, battery. It’s really short and reminiscent of the 2010s era where SOT bout 4hours of heavy usage.
Other than that, FaceID is counterproductive in this masked era.
Next it’s almost due for its upgrade cycle already, Apple typically announce new model in September. Unless you can find it RM500-700 off RRP, it isn’t worth to get a new unit now.

I do consider ip12 mini before.. i think the same like you why bother if have powerbank? But the turth is small battery degradation faster than bigger battery.. second is heat issue.. end up i go for ip12...

Well I use it on other device even albeit slow not like the 12 mini, which is quite fast and small to carry around. Due to its compact size.

I totally expected to go for official battery change 2 year down the line of my 12mini ownership.
I done it with IP5s and IP8 before, quite cost effective way to extend your device's long term usage.
Though since IPXs, Apple totally locked 3rd party battery out of their ecosystem, thus must went back to official Apple partners for repair. I estimate perhaps RM250 for it. Just checked, it's RM280+100 for labor. Price kind of too steep to me. Hopefully by the time my device aged beyond acceptance the price would have dropped. Or I will have to take chance with non-authorised 3rd party battery...

and you would not be able to monitor your battery health.
and you would not be able to monitor your battery health.
For a 3 year old device, not able to monitor battery health no longer concern me as much (at least what I hoped...).
Also, there suppose to have 3rd party solution for cloning the ori battery info onto new battery, but I'm not sure if a laymen end user will want to invest in one for single use, might as well go back to Apple authorised to solve it without hassle (be it unreasonable pricing).

yes agreed. same goes to me but i do prefer to keep eye on battery health from time to time to estimate how long i can stay away from powerbank or charger on my 12 mini. having battery health is not a must but it's good to have.
I'd say official battery is more worthy than 3rd party.

My personal tolerance for price premium with original part is RM300.
Anything more it's a hard pass for me, specifically when we're talking about a 3 years old device by then, with an estimated market price of under RM1.5k-ish.
anyone having problems where their battery health degrading rapidly lately? I bought my phone in late december 2020 and now today, then last week drop to 95%. Then 2 days later, 94% then yesterday it already drop to 93%!! Why is this happpening? Is this normal?
