No, not normal to drop weekly or even daily. Maybe try to drain the battery completely to recalibrate it or do a reset.

ah, okok. I will try this later tonight. Thanks for the tip bro!

yours normal 12 or 12 mini? as for my experience on mini, haven't face such degrade after months of usage and always use 18w charger and charge at least twice a day. i recommend you use as it is until reach 80% bh then go for warranty claim. oh ya I always update to latest ios right after available too. lasti time my bh drop from 100 to 98. and increase to 99 after update.

Mine is a normal 12. So if desperate case, means i have to deliberately drain my batt to 80% to get the free battery replacement? Will apple check my phone usage? I dont want them to later say, "oh you used this app which is a known killer to your phone so we won't change the batt for free even though still under warranty"

I think unlikely for the battery to actually degrade by few percentage over the course of just few days.

Most probably it's trying to calibrate and recalculate the actual capacity. Try a full drain and then full bump charge and see what's the final stabilised figures.

yea, will try later tonight and hope for the best. Thanks for the tip bro!

I found out why my iphone 12 battery health is draining so soon. The stupid culpirit is Teams! kns lar!! As of today, it is already at 90% and the phone is only about 6 mths old!!

Do I go back Mac City store since I bought it from there and ask if I can change the battery? Or there is a different way to claim for my warranty?

Same just dropped to 93%, not even gaming
*
so i'm not alone! Are you guys gonna claim for battery replacement before the 1 year warranty expires?
Got mine in Dec 2020 and now already at 90% (and still dropping rapidly)

For those that say probably because of heavy gaming, that CANNOT be the cause.
Why? Because with my iphone 7, i was playing PokemonGo, Harry Potter Wizards Unite and Mobile Legends and my phone battery did not drain that rapidly. After 2 .5 YEARS of playing those games, my phone battery health was at 85%.
Now, I don't even play any of those games on my new phone(bcoz no time la and MCO) and in just 10 months, my battery health is already at 90%?? Something is not right

The only app that I think is sucking the battery health is the Teams app. Coz when I installed it, my battery health losing 1% a day. Then now after unistalling, my batt didnt degrade that fast..

Don’t think we can exchange battery after 1 year warranty. But yes it’s degrading fast. Just used it until it really spoilt then go change
*
yup, but if BEFORE the warranty expires then can exchange FOC?
am thinking to do that before my warranty expires in December
