https://youtu.be/mF39nRW-eh8Anyone watched this simple test of battery? The most straight forward so far as i’m concerned about the battery as i need it to last whole day.
Summary - for browsing and youtube video is comparable to iphone 11, (in fact ip11pro is weak which i’m really considering if i can’t afford ip12) but the most obvious is ip12 is VERY bad for gaming usage in the test! Just 3 hours compared to ip11 of 6! 11 Can’t be right? With the most advanced A14 chip?
Which got me thinking, could ip12 / 12 pro be incomplete and has very limited real world testing and launched to meet deadlines? That with a non-negotiable deadlines, just confirm overall 90% but got 100% hardware done and ship them out first? That it’s not fully fine tuned yet.
Anyone who’s a project manager/ construction/ engineering would understand - reverse engineer the process ie build the roof first and then later sort out the internals as long as the major building structure is out first because shortage or disruption to materials like what happened because of pandemic.
This is also from the other youtube about display sets having the ip12pro side band scratched badly just sitting on display. And the weird charging mechanism happening that matches only some and not common ones. Every expert working to make sure their own system works but all of them havent come together to sort out the kinks. Like something is not fully right with the materials.
And then it got me thinking (sorry one of those late night, too much thinking) that Apple might not be the same without Jobs anymore. In the past, it would aim for revolutionary products BUT might not be complete, now Apple would fine to refine existing products to be more widely used but not chasing for revolutionary. I would imagine Jobs daring not to launch ip12 until he’s happy 😃
I think you’re just justifying for yourself.
Alot of things that Apple does, is not picked up by the public because they chose to close a blind eye and condemn for the sake of condemning - just for the sake of FOMO. I am not biased towards any brands, but I always believe in a brand’s philosophy and if the brand works and looks good, I’m good with it.
When you mentioned ‘revolutionary’, tell me.. what other brands are ‘revolutionizing’ the mobile phone space at this juncture? As we’ve mentioned in the past few pages - the mobile phone industry is already at the pinnacle of technology, now it’s just the renovation and updating phase. It’s a life cycle. Also, if you’ve watched Jerryrigseveryting’s latest iPhone 12 video - you will notice alot of components has been remodified, restructured, and redesigned to the extend even Jerry himself is impressed. These are the small things that brands do that most people will bat an eye on.
To answer your question - display units are abused to the core, don’t compare personal and display units. Unless you are going to treat your phone the same way as people treat display units. Apple is not a perfect company by any means, but when it comes to industrial design and vision - they are simply up there. Why do people diss Apple eventhough they are not a user? Top of Mind. It’s a brand that has already instilled in the mind of many - this is what they always wanted.
