I’m waiting for the official Apple ones because the only reason I am buying is because of the Magsafe accessories. That wallet + casing looks really good together. Oh and also another Nomad case as well - seems like I have a Nomad for all my iPhones.

Cannot wash, just wipe with damp cloth and wipe again with dry cloth.

Instead of wired charging, might want to consider wireless charging? I’m actually looking forward to the Magsafe Duo (the phone + AW charger) so I don’t have to splurge on the Nomad Base Station Pro

Dark Mode has been on iOS for quite awhile now, since iOS13.

I use it on a daily basis, light mode is such an eyesore.

Err I dont think you can get 4K Netflix via iPhone. Last I checked, only MacOS has it.

MagSafe charges at 15w while standard Qi charges at 7.5w. That’s 2x the Qi standard enabled for iPhones.

Actually the new Apple case does cover the bottom this time, unlike the previous versions. The body of the phone now allows the case to fully cover the body.

Also, I would like to highlight that MKBHD did not test the wallet with the case on when putting it to the pocket. My gut feels tells me that the magnets on the casing will be stronger than the phone’s - so when you attach the wallet, it holds better. I might be wrong, but this is a wishful thinking - have yet to see any reviewer do this test as of now.

Android supported hi-speed wireless charging since forever, only Apple only stuck with 7.5w Qi standard

But I’m not complaining since I always charge my phone overnight wirelessly, so high speed or slow speed doesn’t bother me.

Similar in a sense that they are both USB-C chargers, but differs in wattage output.

iPad Pro uses the older 18w, while the new USB-C is 20w that is equipped together with the newer iPad Air.

Then again, 5G in Malaysia doesn’t seem to be happening anytime between 2021-2023 so I guess by the time we can finally use 5G here, it’s already a new rendition of the iPhone with bigger & better battery (wishful thinking) .

It’s normal. Been through so many iPhone launches over the years and there’s always a eager group of early adopters.

Thats why I kept stressing that whoever post information needs to have the responsibility to fact-check and ensure their source is credible before posting - any misinformation will drive these groups crazy.
