anyone knows if the adapter is similar as the ipad pro 2020 version?
Similar in a sense that they are both USB-C chargers, but differs in wattage output.
iPad Pro uses the older 18w, while the new USB-C is 20w that is equipped together with the newer iPad Air.

For me, no charging brick aside, not to mention the earphones, the sort of deal breaker for me is the reduced battery capacity. No matter how power efficient the iPhones are, with the phones having 5G, they will definitely not last as long as we would like it to be.
High refresh rate is good to have but not end of the world without it. That’s for me.
Then again, 5G in Malaysia doesn’t seem to be happening anytime between 2021-2023 so I guess by the time we can finally use 5G here, it’s already a new rendition of the iPhone with bigger & better battery (wishful thinking)
