Yes its not worth it if you want to just upgrade your RM89 to RM219 for TV.
Coz you will be paying additional RM3307 (130x24+ 6 sst) which comes almost to the TV value.
I saw a shopee seller selling the TV model for RM3200 if buying around Klang Valley.

It is not bad if u count like this:
219x24+6 sst=5571
5571-3200=2371
2371/24=98.8

pay rm98.8 per month and get 500mbps i think very worth it.

Hi, Maxis employee here. Existing customers upgrading from 30/100/300mbps to 500mbps cannot get the mesh wifi for free, instead need to pay the RM25/month. When you upgrade, you will only get the TV for RM1/month. Mesh wifi only available for new customers upon registration.

Hello, got confirmation with Maxis HQ today, unless your contract is 2 years full and you decide recontract, you will get it for free with no penalty. But if you're still under the Maxis Fibre 2 year installation contract and get the free mesh wifi, you will trigger the RM500 penalty by our back end system. Please confirm with Maxis on your account or you will be paying RM500 for your "free" mesh wifi.

65 inch TV only for Maxis Unlimited Postpaid & Fibre customers.

If only Fibre, max is 50 inch TV.

To qualify for the 65 inch TV, need to sign up for a mobile plan. Lowest is RM 98 for 2 years.

Total?

RM 98 + RM 219 + RM 1 = RM 318 monthly excluding tax

After 2 years, u would have paid RM 7632.

IMO, not worth it.

Fibre only customer like me not rewarded despite being in the service for 5 years and paid on time 99%.

Time to transfer out from Maxis.

Maxis RM98 postpaid can add rm1 one time fee for Samsung A21s (RRP RM939)
Maxis Fibre 500mbps Rm219 + rm1 zerolution x24 months can get 65inch Samsung TV (RRP RM3,999)

Total Cost = (RM98x24) + RM1 + (RM219x24) + (RM1 x24) = RM7,633
Total Devices u get from Maxis in RRP = RM939 + RM3,999 = RM4,938

Expenses for unlimited mobile data + home fibre 500mbps per month = (RM7,633 - RM4,938) / 24 months = RM112.29 per month
If think like this u will feel better??

Compare to u port out to unifi for 500mbps current price RM249 per month & cheapest telco with unlimited HIGH SPEED data quota & unlimited HOTSPOT plan is DIGI infinite RM150 per month = rm399 per month
