Hey guys, I wanna ask is it the firmware problem when my trusty old K800i can't actually assigned different ringtones to my contacts available in my phone?

My current firmware in my K800i is R1KG001. Is it a freaking old firmware?

maybe..why dont u reflash the firmware first.or maybe reset the phone..

I've tried reset the K800i of mine for twice & the same problem still persists. I'm trying to get it reflash with latest firmware if possible. So what's the latest firmware for K800i currently? Mind to share?

hi guy over here...i wanna ask ar....y my handsfree ar...when i listen to music is loud but when i use it to call ppl is damm soft....i check the volume control is max ady.....previously wuz ok ....is there any setting that i adjusted aR?

yeah....my hp volume is high....coz when i listen to music...is loud..but when i try to u to talk...is very very soft....call volume is max...

something weird just happened to my K800.
but i never installed anything whatever.
basically happened after i came back from SG...could be due to the roaming and celcom messing up again...

any calls i do is not listed in the calls dialled.
likewise, if i get any miss calls...it will show the 'missed calls: xxx, view now?' screen....
but when i press view, it says no missed calls.

Added on October 22, 2008, 11:38 amnm, fixed the problem.

had to clear all calls, even tho there were no calls on it.

the latest firmware is not R8BA024, but R8BF003.

I know that the firmware that I'm having now in my trusty K800i is too freaking old. I was wondering how to flash it to the latest firmware without the need to send it to phone repair technicians even though I've few. I would like to DIY with minimal fuss by using the original USB data cable if possible.

if u are not into modding or u just want to update the FW, u can use SEUS, but make sure that ur phone is no AP set, otherwise it will said that ur phone alredy updated to the latest version

Aiks...... my K800i is an AP distributor set previously. Dammit..... that means I'll need either to send it to phone technician to reflash it or using XS++ to flash its firmware to the latest version? Any other alternative? I understand that XS++ requires "courage" for the phone owner to reflash its firmware right?

AP set? actually it depends on ur AP company..some AP set can be update through SEUS..mine w850i also AP set,but can update through SEUS..try it first k

Well, I've tried it few times edi since early this year but to no avail. It pops up a message saying that my phone's software is up to date. Sigh..... any other alternative to flash it firmware to the latest one besides using SEUS?

yes..by downloading the latest firmware manually and update it through SEtools or XS++

hi all, got one doubt here...

i turn on the the "maxis MMS 3G" in my internet setting and thus the 3G icon is appearing on my screen, will it have more power (battery) consumption?
