solly ah...dun quite catch what u say. yesterday was in carrefour under the computer section, a lot of fans but all plug into USB. my onkyo 606 no have usb port nor any AC outlet. my pionner dvd player got one USB port, will that do or will the fan run if plug in. so not sure why still need hp charger. a bit confused here....

Again, the additional ISF and the improved microphone are really great. But the 875 is no slouch either.

My real surprise is the addition of the ISF features.

Haven't really played too much. But I doubt I will hear too much differences. I think the new microphone just improves Audyssey accuracy due to its design. That makes the trims more accurate and the filtering more sound. Main reason for getting it was to get a AVR with 2 HDMI outs. The ISF capability is a bonus. So for those who have displays like the Sharp (no grayscale in the user menu and service menu grayscale adjustments flaky) and other displays (Panny, lower end Sony) this is a good additional. Now grayscale can be calibrated. Also has 6 gamma options!

jchong, my listening levels are normally -10 to -15dB.

fix monster cable speaker wire and oso monster digital optic(one wire) and the video monster 3 component video on my conventional tv, wah....got difference...if lcd better still. I try BI-AMP and initiall tot something wrong as the sound suddenly went so bad. later read manual need to set avr to bi-amp, now getting the sound i want.

hv also come across this 4ohm, 6 ohm. my jamo floor standing is 6 ohm, so should i set to 6ohm or 4 ohm on the avr ah... if i read the manual it says set 4ohm if speaker is fm 4-6. correct ah...

what is that you yr onkyo got -db whereas mine 606 only the normal volume 1-80.

thanks, will set to 6ohm. the astro audio output(only one output) is currently connect direct to tv and tv to avr. coz while kids watching their show, no need everytime switch avr. i went thru the manual and could not find what i need.

can astro audio goes to avr input and avr out to tv without switching on avr, the tv will draw the natural signal fm avr-astro, like by pass. all i know is to get a splitter, one to tv, one to avr but scared not nice as want invest in a good cable if can go fm astro to avr and avr to tv without switching on the avr.

Thanks Again. i might have a fren coming in fm uk that might want him to get for me the banana plug. this banana plug is used to plug into our speaker and also into our avr right? i saw the picture of banana and it will fit into our current screw type?
