If you plan to cancel this credit card, make sure you mentioned to cancel both of the cards, which is Rewards and Cashback card.

I've requested to cancel this card early this month, and they only CANCEL ONE CARD only which is the Cashback card.

In the first place, I checked the online portal and I saw 1 credit card still active. When I called back the customer service, the credit card dept just cancel 1 card only. The rewards card they didn't cancel

I requested again to cancel the other card. and I have to wait another 7 working days for them to cancel the card. Unbelievable.

for affin duo + great eastern, if I set auto debit via great eastern e-Connect website, will I get the cash back? my concern is whether Affin will treat it as auto billing or not.

I am sticking to Duo for insurance auto-debit, FCB VS 1% just can't beat it. The RM50 cap for the <3000 is sufficient for my usage.

No min spending. The card is still good, 3% for RM50 monthly CB cap

affin - check why the attempt to charge failed.

ge - get the agent to checked the fail reasons captured from their system
failed to charge could be few reasons:

1) card expired -- unlikely for Affin Duo, for now

2) insufficient credit limit?

3) card terminated, but not updated in GE system -- i guess unlikely for you since you've been using it for months now

4) you requested swap card, but not updated in GE system -- did you recently change cc autobilling for GE? from my experience, changing cc autobilling will take few days to take effect, GE agent recommend dont update when you're near charging date

met once, pay manually on the GE page, nx month ok balik.

Ask my agent and she mentioned was system update and error while charge to our card.
