Major Problem here

After doing all the steps in BASE

Now i cant do the ISO part

After select the DIR

when i click Creation , Start Creation

It got error , wad it said is

Could Not Open Boot Sector File C:\CDIMAGE\Boot.img

Second Error is

The system could not find the path specific

Browse for your boot.img file rather than use the one originally set in the CDIMAGE GUI.

But hey mate , where do i find the other boot.img ??

The boot.img is supposed to be with the CDIMAGE GUI package together. It is in the same folder after you extract it.

Save the ice creams, my dad's a ice cream distributor in my area so i have plenty.

Something weird is how ar? As there is no previous problem like yours ever since this thread started. Maybe you got a corrupted download or something?

but then ... when i want to started format the HP COMPAW V3791TU Lappy

It got the same old problem man ... cannot detect HDD also after slipstream ...

LOL! again you're the only person complaining it don't work after slipstreaming... You run the setup normally just that it won't detect?

yeah i know i am troublesome mate ...

run normal ... let it run , then after awhile still got da screen

no HDD detected F3 restart ...

Hi people... is there anyone who can teach me how to install Windows XP on a Compaq Presario CQ45-145TX notebook... this notebook model is running on Intel 2.4 GHz - P8600 ICH9m Chipset... I've got no idea on how to get the SATA/RAID controller driver working... after I press 'F6' and Select the SATA driver, the XP installation goes blue screen... what can I do?? Sorry if I sound silly but can anyone help me please??

Added on December 4, 2008, 7:20 amOh... for additional information... I'm using a XP Pro SP2 CD... with f6flpy3286.zip SATA driver downloaded from Intel website... I used a USB FDD and choose ICH9M Driver... however, the XP installation turned blue screen...

did i miss a step? must i use XP SP3? did i use the correct SATA driver?

I somehow did not have any luck using that method on any Compaq machines that i tried. Only the slipstream one worked, so you might want to try it out. I am not entirely sure about SP3 for this matter either but you can give it a try...

can someone help me find amd sata ahci controller driver for compaq pressario cq40 133ax? i got problem dwngrading it to xp, i already tried using the nlite but still faced the same problem

That's quite impossible... What exactly are the problems you are still facing?

"Insert the disk labeled: AMD SATA AHCI Controller driver Diskette into drive A : . Press ENTER when ready" i already insert the driver but somehow it didn't detect it

Slipstreaming it didn't work either?

Because if you read above, somehow the diskette method didn't work for me on most of the Compaq models i have tried and i didn't know why either...
