Hey guys, went through this tread and found out many people bought V spec and lately, many interested on V Sensing / RS spec.

I am planning to get S spec, not many people buy this spec?
As mentioned by some forumers, can save some money for Tinted & Carpet.

For me, I prefer less high tech gadget and do not require many features such as
8" Touchscreen Infotainment System
Remote Start
Passive Cruise Control
Paddle Shift
Reverse Camera
Single-zone Automatic Climate Control
.......
*
You do what you feel best for you.

I drive an 11 years old S spec city. Most i see is E spec on the road. Does it bother me? No.

not just wallet la, everything need to consider laugh.gif
got money who don't want to buy best spec, best car, or even just buy a few and interchange.

just need to balance out how much you can comfortably splurge out with the best cost/benefits according to your thinking.
only you know best your own situation, we can just advise laugh.gif

I've been considering getting an RS for quite some time now but after seeing multiple Honda QC issues on a fb group I am starting to think if its worth the price.
I would expect at least 1-2years of driving with minimal issues when buying a new car but multiple complaints of steering rack issues and some complaints about other parts are making me feel the price is not worth it. Also seems like Honda SC are unable or reluctant to resolve issues from their post.
What do you guys think? Is the issues I see online just a minority or I should consider other cars?

Same, was considering V-sensing cuz it has better specs and larger space but Honda QC is not good. Steering rack issue is quite common. Now I'm in dilemma of getting it or opt for its competitor instead.

Yes. As i on & off drive my father Honda CRV, 1.5 Turbo, year 2019.
A lot of gadgets, good stuff, but seldom use when on the road........
Just focus on driving......

For example, infotainment touch screen, need to press quite precise, if not wrong response, also if finger wet or oily, then no response.
Sometimes button still the best.

Cruise Control, on highway not so useful, either too slow or need self accelerate the pedal, unless Adaptive Cruise control then different story.
Same to paddle shift...

Unless professional then useful, if normal driver like me, no require.

Hey we are in same boat cant find any S owner review

I also prefer less toys and feel rm13k jump from S to V not really worth.
Honda wheels is ugly, paddle shift useless for puny engine, prefer tactile big button than touchscreen in car
probably the only thing really miss in the V is the led headlight and leather

Also considering Myvi 1.5X but waiting list is long and big factor is no boot.
Looking at CRV but new model will release next year

Btw anyone can share how much discount can get and waiting period?

ya real bad

i have an thrid gen myvi n the city V
myvi nvh is really down to the drain one
on raining day as if i open window to heard the water splashing sound

then the seat of myvi is not full size , its a tad shorter , so not much support for your shoulder, long drive would suffer alot i 1.8m tall, not sure about other height would be better or not

the suspension while on paper both look similar, city deal with minor road imperfection as if the thing is not there, myvi on the other hand, transmit all the bump n imperfection to your hand without filtering, this is worst than old gen myvi and while both have eps , the myvi steering is alot more heavy

then the aircond, myvi aircond need to blow directly at you to get cold, slight miss direction n you will be left out, city one just like regular aircond the whole cabin cold

havent touch on the power part, myvi engine constantly feel breathless grasping for air
the new cvt do help mitigate this but still the engine noise is louder if u push

city on paper having almost 20% more Hp , effortless drive compare to myvi

and city having keyless button on both front door is super convenient, to unlock, myvi need to push button once or twice depending how many door you want to open, on city, put your hand in the door handle will unlock the door liao thumbsup.gif

n the speaker is alot diffrent, myvi speaker lacks high note, bass, just pretty much got sound coming out nia
city one bass but high note lacking also, not sure the S getting what quality but i think still much better than perodua one

to me, what myvi win is the LED headlight brightness, other than that not much liao the sweat.gif

You keep seeing it on fb while there is no solution to it which makes buyers worry. But I see someone saying that it is a problem for Vios too as the supplier is the same. How true I dont know.
We only see a few on fb complaining but how many are facing the issue but didn't post on social media? some of it happened weeks after purchase and some happened months after.
So if you see it frequent enough on fb you would think as a purchaser would you be at risk of it and if you can live with it if you are such a "lucky" person.

For me I decided to risk it. Close my eyes and pray to GOD.

yes the old infotainment is shitty, but the new one in gn2 is very very good. very very smooth. Pair it with android auto or carplay, is like a godsend. The speed and touchscreen is really good compare to the one in hrv or last civic. And the interface is not shitty anymore.
