been happy with it so far compared to rakuten (in terms of stability)

BUT

there's a few points to make -

i) app interface overall is better than rakuten but not the features... there's no fingerprint sign in, no autofill, and you cannot adjust your confirmed order, only can round down (eg from 2 lots to 1 lot). if you want to change the order price you need to cancel and start over

Also i got this issue where after you input password and login, it will fail and reset your password. Need keep entering password and keep retry login.

ii) i dont even bother with the website.... you need IE for live updates to run

rakuten japan is kinda good. its does support very well for my ipad mini gen 1.

but rakuten my double face palm......

i using mircosoft edge, no problem.
pc platform like very old school excel format. but quite steady n smooth.
just the UI ......not user friendly. and their blance sheet just a print screen. not like rakuten more presentable.

any interest given if there is cash balance in the account like rakuten ?

high commission, 0.42% or minimum charges whichever is higher - thats what they do. but in fact, if you buy in big chuncks, Public Bank is more reliable.

for M+ players, anyone can chare on robo trading ?

Nowadays I felt M+ a little bit hang at early minutes of trading but still can login and a lot better situation than Rakuten. Technical and fundamental analysis is decent thou.

While CIMB is much at ease during early morning but higher brokerage fee. I like CIMB itrade more cos I can customize the platform more.

Wanted to open one so i went direct to the subang branch, to my surprise staff said 6 to 7 weeks by filling up forms few days ago...gave up n left ..

I just opened one via my friend.. Seems fast enough 3-4 weeks tops.. just Skynet form to and fro within a few days.. No need go branch...

Oh by way, they will fill up 90% of the form for you since they will WhatsApp first before sending form to you.

Yes it took 1 moths to get account activated. I switch over from Rakuten basically is because of stability issue. U will end up loosing money because your orders is stuck and not able to process in rakuten platform.

I signed up online last month. Took 5 weeks for the approval. Tried to activate the account but can't because I'm a safari user. Wrote to support but got no reply.

I just used my brother's computer to successfully activate my account. Hoping that I can revert back to Safari after activation. Is it safe to do so?

I have some questions on fees and charges.

For M+ when I open an account I incur RM10 for CDS account opening fee.

What other fees involved aside from brokerage fees minimum RM8 and stamping fee RM1 for every rm1000 transactions? Does this rm1 involved buying or selling or both?

Yes the stamping fee is imposed separate on both buying and selling.. also, you need to pay 0.03% clearing fee to bursa as well besides the brokerage and stamping fee

Can try rakuten or itrade or both and do small trades...but dont expect to be smooth during heavy transactions ...u may lose money due to lost opportunity to buy or sell

U can trade while opening with m+, no conflict, u can always transfer ur money and/or share over once open, but suggest just close all position to avoid delay and hassle and just transfer cash...

The broker fees wont differ too much unless contra/margin

nope. No other way, cause too many people wanna open account now. 17 days is actually quite fast considering they told us to wait at least 1 month. But now Rakuten can use d la, so no more problems d. I will just keep M+ as backup.

Was told it'll take 1 month, just keep in mind

I applied for a new M+ account (cash upfront basic setup) online on 17/6 and it was approved on 20/7 and ready to trade. Quite a bit of supporting information is required, however a dealing exec from the SJ branch will contact the applicant to assist.

I submitted application last week. No news or whatsoever.

I read from their website that there are no online trading for oversea stocks, but there are "Offline" method to do it.

u cant save ur column configuration, once u switch to another laptop/PC and login then the columns sequence are reset

I think u can use it in chrome . U just need to install IE ext.

Yup. Very simple.

I've not used M+ browser in years.. everything can be done through the mobile app, from depositing and withdrawing cash.

How to transfer share to other CDS account ?

I believe you have to head to their office to do that..

How long does it take to credit a withdrawal? I made a withdrawal on 26/8 and still nothing till today.

Rakuten trade can do it by online.

But mobile app cant edit order right? There was no option to edit order price, only reduce the volume.

Nope.. I usually just cancel and create a new order. Effectively it's the same thing though, editing an order is cancelling an old order and creating a new order.

I applied my M+ CDS via Bursa Anywhere at early Aug, then mid Aug go M+ office to submit account opening form, waited till few days ago still no reply from them, cannot tahan, go whatsapp them to question my account opening then only they send me account opening success email to me.

Maybe you can try whatsapp/call to question them about your account as well.

Hi wanting to ask about Mplus average price when acquiring shares. Noticed in Rakuten they tend to round up prices when I buy.

Eg. Bought at RM0.205 but when I checked my trade history it's RM0.207

Is this normal in Mplus too?
