Saw this at Lowyat Plaza outlet.

UPDATE: Not really a good experience, at first cashier told me they just accepted TnG yesterday, manager still haven't taught them on how to use it yet. And then, she asked her senior, senior had no idea as well, wanted to pay with cash but the senior insisted to use it and told me to wait, called the manager and then only figured out on how to use it.

One more funny thing is, cashier at first also told me that I can only use it to pay for Oyoshi drinks lol.

Among all the big boys in eWallet, TnG has the most unstable and unreliable tech  doh.gif

Quite similar with Boost when it comes to instability...

But I'm giving them a chance because of their merchant acceptance that's up to par with Boost...

If I've been giving many chances to Boost even with their random hiccups, I'll do the same for TnG too.

just curious...for ketupat runtuh reward, what is the highest single reward so far ?
i m planning to buy an item priced at Rm500+. havent decided to use tng or boost

boost will only give Rm3-5 shake reward, but the transaction will be entitled to weekly super shake chance. but if tng can give around 5-10% cb, i will definitely use tng
*
I would use Boost for that if I were you, when you compare TnG Ketupat Runtuh vs Boost Shake Reward, TnG is actually more gambling than Boost, especially the fact when some of our fellow TnG user here got RM 0.10 reward consistently even though he spent quite a lot.

mcash remove tnb already, so no ewallet can pay tnb now. pls goto tnb app. or search internet for other method
*
Yeah, installed it back just now just to check it out, wonder why they removed it...

What instability? So far for small payments I don't have much issues.
*
Actually the correct term would be unreliability, my bad...

It's actually when you make payments, and you suddenly get that "system down" BS or something like that.

Although I'm used to it, it's really annoying at times, but I noticed that things have improved drastically when compared to a year ago.

Not as attractive as TnG that's for sure.

QUOTE(majorarmstrong @ Jun 9 2019, 11:42 AM)
sales drop by 50% after this
*
Nah, Malaysians love Tealive for some reason, but I won't judge...

Sales will mostly remain the same as it is as usual, just that the usage of e wallet at Tealive will definitely drop drastically after this.

Would you mind to check if yours is the case or otherwise, thanks

Sorry for the dumb question. But what's the advantage of using e-wallet when we can use paywave?. Is it just because the sake of cash back/rewards shit?
*
While it's a yes for cashback and rewards, it's also a yes for convenience and preference of payment method.

your previous post mentions paydirect for public transport has been launched..so the fare will be deducted from ewallet first, same as tolls that accept RFID, which is not good for those users who wanna utilise balance of tng card
*
Really? When did it launch though?

Did TnG make any announcement?
