I clarified, they said only software update.
*
Thanks for update, but didn't receive anything.

Since you are mentioning software update and I saw in FB just now, mentioned something about auto parking issues related sensors detecting to far.

Not sure this is same as the "recall" highlightes by u.

Waiting for someone to confirm problem solve, then maybe someone else will design a rubber to insert inside.

There were forumer added the soundproofing on tweeter area which can reduced the wind noise significantly
[attachmentid=10810120]
*
Already done that soundproof from day 1 together with tinting.

My problem is above 70km/h, depending on wind angle, sometimes have wind noise.
Not that serious at the moment coz didn't have chance to test it at highway.

*
Should be the same in almost every aspect, except tyres noise from standard significantly noisier than flagship tyres.

How's the result? Curious to know.
*
So far when I drive my usual road for last 2 days, doesn't hear any wind noise when above 70km/h.

Normally happen also depends on wind angle.

I think it is reducing coz I didn't hear it since stick the thick tape there.

I will try to update in another week, now still cant confirm.

It is not easy to do, perhaps u want to try it yourself.
Get those red 3M double-sided tape or thick and soft tape, then put it at corner at the seal@door side or the plastic housing.

If the theory is correct here, that corner seems light only have a soft touch on yhe rubber seal, thus not enough pressure on it and also the seal at that corner also seem to out of shape (not 'D'), maybe that the reason it happened.

just got x50 last week.

anyone encounter the whistling noise from a/c when on full blast during a hot afternoon?

the nvh of x50 is so much better compare to my accord.
but it is comparable to ma sis c250 sedan..

my biggest challenge right now, where is the fuel cap release lever? or we just need to press on the cap to release it?
*
For fuel cap, it is more convenience, to press the cap to release like most of European car. Unlike Japanese car, you always have to remember to pull the lever under the seat which could forgotten sometimes.

After all, you will be there to put in the petrol.

are these without interlock? like need key fob nearby?

if not then everyone just go to european car and pop the fuel cap open and pump out some petrol  laugh.gif
*
As mentioned by another user before my post above, it follow your door lock, if locked mean fuel cap is locked.
To unlock the cap also mean you have to unlock your door in order to open it.

I was having Peugeot car, it is having the same approach, I did find it very convenience.

Wait, did you mean it's easy to do or it is NOT easy to do? I think what you did was sticking 3M tape at that corner right? Pretty nice thought there, I think I would try your approach. I have tried Aero Fins and they slightly reduced wind noise, but not much. Thank you for sharing.
*
Yes, if you can find from shoppee or lazada a small 4-6mm height door seal shape or DIY like my experiment, then you could it right at plastic house at car body (you will see it once opened you door).

With the seal, once you close the door, the seal should seal up the narrow gap (I will try show u picture later).

I managed to test a bit on yesterday night, not too fast around 80-9X km/h. Usually I may hear a sharp pitch wind noise, but yesterday didn't hear that but I now hear something else but can differentiate tires or wind noise as this is not as loud as before.
Still need to drive a bit to see the different.

Just for sharing, feel free to do what you want with your car, I'm no expert, just experiment my way. To be honest for my car, the noise is not serious to me. My previous owned cars are Peugeot 405, Honda and Myvi, thus for me X50 is already much better already

Hi all, just got my car 2 weeks ago and so far so good!

Tried reading the manual book but still can’t find anything regarding this:

1. Is there any way to switch between favourite FM stations by pressing the buttons on the steering wheel? Right now it seems to just jump to the next available FM instead of the next “favourited” FM. Quite distracting to use the screen while driving haha

Thanks!
*
I guess no, other than pressing favorite stations on the LCD screens.
Next closes thing can do here, is using Hi Proton.

2nd week of ownership now and my proton link is still not activated.

During collection my SA told me that it'll be activated soon.

Texted my SA multiple times and his explanation is just "sometimes it'll take longer"

Anyone having the same experience?
*
You should try contact Proton HQ or Proton in FB.
I think it is more effective, I would think your SA is giving you a simple answer just to entertain you.

He already got his pocket money from you.... unsure.gif

I am from Kuching and have the car since January . Still cannot activate proton link.
call the proton 2x already and standard answer is server issues !!
*
My only suggestion for you is continuing to:

1) Call Proton HQ
2) Contact Proton customer service in FB
3) Contact ACO Tech in FB (they responsibled for development of Proton Link app)

Good luck for you.
In my opinion our SA is unless/not helpful apart from selling and help you submit papers for your car.

If not, likely no.

Can try your luck to login into Proton Link app with your phone no.
