Anyone interested to get a DSP with adjustable EQ could consider this base model.

strangely, i ordered 2 days ago, its otw
do you know how to tune it?

Just got it tuned today by a car accessory shop. The software is not overly complicated and you can probably do it if you have those audio test files (which has a whole range of natural sounds and those that are split into different tracks for tuning individual speakers). Since I sent mine to a car accessory shop, I've asked them to tune it for me as well.

initially wanted to get the 31-channel dsp, but thought maybe too many channels to play with;
is the sound improved a lot? can share your presets?

I wouldn't say improved a lot when compared to having changed the speakers and adding sub woofers. But having this dsp definitely boost up the gain even without any tuning done yet. When compared from stock sound and using the different preset settings available in the HU, having this dsp was definitely an improvement to my ears after tuning. The bass was having more clarity. The treble was already high on the stock so I had to tune it down a little to please my ear. The mid low and mid high was significantly better as well since you are able to adjust the level of different frequencies.
The tuning was done according to your seating position so the presets may not be the same for all cars even with the same model. Having the 31 band would definitely help fine tune the sound further but either way, using stock speakers would not do much more improvement in my opinion since the power of the stock speakers are probably already maxed out with a dsp installed.
Overall for a non audiophile like me who just wants better sound clarity, this dsp is a cheap solution that I can live with for a long time. BTW I wasn't using joox for music, but my own collection of a mixture of mp3 and flac.
I have installed the DSP Audxeon D1680 a months plus and I learned and did the tuning myself.
On my Flagship, just by adding DSP only, it is definite much better that it can help to boost the bass and mid bass; or getting crisp on mid to high freq range.
The original speakers are not bad, only lack of bass and some mid bass range, will DSP can set to have more bass or crisp in the front or rear speak.
I'm still learning to tune, increase bass may come a bit of sacrifices on high frequency range or vice versa if your want more crisp sound at high freq. However with the DSP, you can also tune front speakers more crisp and rear more bass and mid bass.
However, a week ago I got myself an active subwoofer too and I would say it is amazing sound now. It make my tuning much more easier and flexible.
-Front speakers focus of mid and high freq, filtered low freq.
-Rear speakers filtered a little on the low freq and may it covered from mid bass freq range upto high freq and boost on high freq range.
-Active subwoofer, didn't do any change, flat signal direct from DSP to active sub. Only adjust gain and added little bass boost from active sub. itself.
Measuring with pink noise, I can now easily tune to audiophile profile
(flat across the freq. range and slight higher of high freq range) with the original speaker + active subwoofer comparing to without active subwoofer.
Again I'm a noob on this and still learning here, however if you are using the same DSP, I'm gladly to share my setting profile with you.
