Agreed with your inputs here, however do remember he is pushing the limit and driving significantly faster around 80-120km/h on Genting hill.
I must said much faster than X70 AWD (boost to 30X Nm) which I notice around 70-110 km/h thru all his video.

For normal people like me, I wont even dare to go downhill upto 100km/h.

So for me, X50 already best in his own class can offer with the given price.
Of coz always rooms for improvement for those car enthusiast.

Also take away here, the car is quite nimble "YS use the word chunky?", he did mentioned it is very is easy to manipulate the car as the front is heavier to the tail when taking corners. To reduced under steer, he actually tilt it by jerking the sterling. Seem easy for him, but seem complicate for me..haha.

Yes time is damn fast, if counting starting from guard house (4:12) and back (16.44) it is around 12 mins 30 secs for 1 round.

For sharing here and vent my dislike to Proton.

Yesterday I was told by my SA, my orange Flagship has been confirm.
So today SA comeback with the amount for the deposit.

Last minute here, SA said it is a must to take either Urban or Utility package. They car come with it.

I was a bit angry with this, as from start keep telling me it is not compulsory to take any package.

If dont want mean wait until Proton change their production or policy.. only by then you get your car.

As I said that I just vent my dislike feeling.

For update here.
I'm in the process making down-payment for the deposit.
Insurance has been issued and no plate is ready.
SA will provide the chassis no. on Monday.

I have taken the urban package on my thinking s follows:-

1) If dont accept means maybe have to wait till no sst exemption only can get car, thus I still need to pay 4-6k to top up. If before 2021, I won't accept becoz I was considering car value lost when coming to 2021 but anyhow I didn't get my car before this.

2) Powerboot is nice to have, but for me was not necessary and additionally no kick sensor is the real disappointment. When your hand is lifting many stuff that is where powerboot with kick sensor come handy else I can use my hand, X50 boot is neither heavy or too high for my hand.
Of coz if I want, I was thinking after 1 yr later, then install outside.
To me paying Rm2500 (value I gave Proton) vs outside Rm2000, the only pro here is 5 years warranty.

3) Carpet and sun shade (est. Rm300 vs Proton RM400) , both is something I need, but I was thinking to get medium grade mat like trapo. Now I have to give up until the coil mat need to change. I dont think coil carpet is something can sell easily and nobody will look for it also.

4) SmartTag, before Covid-19, I'm using atleast one or twice a month. My SmartTag is actually quite bad condition, if you are familiar 2nd gen always has problem with it LCD screen. So I take it X50 built-in smartag (est. RM 450 vs Proton Rm600) is not that bad, especially if you crossing Penang 1st bridge. RFID (I do have it on my Honda City) dont get the same amount of discount.

So thanks everyone for your inputs here. I do see as Proton customer here, we feel same here that Proton policy is not par with other brands on customer satisfaction or transparency.

Thinking positively, Proton force sales is stealing est. Rm750, not RM 3500.
If you were install outside will also need around Rm2.7k but one maybe said, outside can get better features and quality which I agreed, unfortunately this is the choice have to make to avoid paying SST.

Any good suggestions to improve it without voiding any warranty?

Possible just to add a sub-woofer under the seat or under boot (utility & spare tired storage area)?
Or changing the 2 door speaker or all 4 or 6 speaker to 2 ways or 3 ways speaker configuration without touching HU unit?

Getting my car soon, also thinking about options can be done on audio department.
Of coz, don't expect high budget on this.

What are the tasks or inspections need to perform before signed the acceptance form?

1) Correct car plate no, chassis no, owner details on the JPJ vehicle registration vs. the car.

2) Inspecting interior & exterior for any defect and known defect listed below:-

Missing or loose
1. Wheel nut cap
2. Roof rail cap
3. Side mirror bottom cap
4. Toolkit
5. Spare tyre

Defects
1. Interior door plastic defect near small speaker beside side mirror
2. Door and boot not perfectly aligned
3. Both side aircond vents working and air blowing out.
4. Rear door alignment
5. Incomplete paint job and painting on stickers.

Others inspection
1. GPS working
2. Tyre brand and wheel spec per model (Flagship)
3. Proton Linking working properly
4. Auto parking features, 360 cameras, ADAS??, ACC, ICC
5. Headlamp, frog lamp, etc to confirm working and not scratches/damages.

3) Free gifts (if got any agreement)

4) 1st or 2nd maintenance booking/schedule (given MCO may not able reach 1000km within time frame)

I guess have to rectify with SA, if those fix can be done, listed, agreed and signed by SA then I sign the acceptance form.

Else I have to give up and pass to other in the que.. 😅

That's the 'rectification process' then if decided to accept to wait.
Not my concern, since I can wait and not like die die must have the car now, as long as I dont pay extra sst later.

However I have to comment on your attitude here.
What's the problem with your MENTALITY that lost here? What's the hack with you jumped the conclusion the simple fix must leave car or wait 2 months for spare parts, express you anger here.

Reject is not always easy but time and patience needed until they rectify the issue.

For sure, reject mean bank wont release payment. Then it is the process who can wait longer and of coz reputation of Proton can be a point for discussion.

Normally this is not the case, they will try and able to retify most of the problems mentioned earlier in inspection, like paint job, or missing cover or minor software issues.

Unless this is a major defect and cant be retify, example wrong chassis or registration or car came. in already got accidental damage.
