i'm like u before..choosing between exec and premium based on my budget

for me, the different 8k++ from exec to premium, i can see and feel the different for eg: larger head unit, fully digital meter cluster, larger rim, tpms, and the fancy proton link. this feel u cant get on exec. the topup amount certainly i can justify it.

at first i leaning to exec than on second thought, premium i can get almost complete x50. exec i feel like downgrade version.

for flagship, i cannot see physically the additional addon (ADAS) but of cos if i can afford i will choose flagship, but then premium is good enough for me getting almost all the bell and whistle. features that i cannot see physically, i can live without it.

but lastly it all depend on your choice, just sharing my opinion. happy booking

If Flagship will become budget issue. Go for exec, save even more from Premium.

In general what you can do with Premium mostly can be done on Exec as well, except maybe the 360 cam & tire pressure sensor.

18" tire is more expensive too.

Edit: Premium mostly is just cosmetic improvements compared to Exec, if you really care that much about the cosmetic upgrade probably can consider.
from the outside Exec look decently well with LED headlamp & leather seat, only people who familiar with X50 able to grasp the difference between premium and exec from outside, Exec look pretty decently spec and won't feel kosong unless u really care about those cosmetic upgrades.

In my opinion if cost a problem go for Exec,

If don't like sunroof and direct injection engine but have money to spare, Premium is the way.

Personally to invest this price range of a car I will want at least safety feature like Front collision warning & blindspot monitor to be available otherwise 3 more years down the road your car become obsolete quickly.

Hi all the sifus here, I am thinking whether to buy executive spec or premium spec considering the price difference RM8400, my concern will be the 17inch and 18inch tyres and rims as well as the black and red interiors. Sifus any advices for me?

I took Exec variant. For me, it was either Exec or Flagship.

Didn't even considered Premium because the features are mostly cosmetic & vanity upgrades compared to Exec. It even has the same lower output engine as well.

Exec still has 6 airbags & fundamental safety features, & leatherette seats

Didn't see the point of getting larger similar designed 18" wheels for a lower output engine. The rm8400 price difference between Exec & Premium is not worth of what extra features that was offered

Oh I see. I think this should be the case then, as silver is considered one of the 'safe' colors apart from Grey.

Silver feel like some typical SUV, not as catchy as those unique Red/Orange/Blue.. I don't feel I saw a lot of white too but in fact white is one of the best seller, because they too blend in SUV color naturally, then Silver is just so normal that maybe after 10 or 20 years it still hold up well on the road.

My Flagship ranges from 9.6km/l to 14km/l

14km/l because long distance drive from KL to Kota Bharu using Gua Musang route, normally I would get around 9.6 - 10km/l driving in KL,

in comparison with similar drive style and coverage I get around
9.8km/l with X50 Flagship
11km/l with Subaru Forester
13km/l with Persona VVT 1.6 MT
14km/l with Myvi 1st geb 1.3 MT
