Nope. Because the system will automatically start your engine first before starting the aircon (therefore not putting too much strain on the battery and starter). Besides, the user manual also never mention that you have to ensure the aircon is off before starting the car.

Just received mine yesterday. Booked at Glenmarie SA. I also dont know how I can get mine so early despite the SA telling me that early batches are mostly for VIPs (and trust me I am a nobody).

Car drives good. The power steering is a tad too light IMO. After I drove my old car to park which I think has a light steering felt so heavy.

The thing I directly notice and dislike the most about it would probably be its lack of thigh support. Quickly felt tired during driving. The support/cushion is there just that its not high enough to really support the thighs. Not sure if its my seat/steering position that is causing this. I think Adrian from Wapcar addresses this in his review.

The thing I like the most was the Proton Link. Its so useful and has some good function in it.

But guys, the dashboard and A pillar gap is real. Hahaha. But not to obvious tho. Thank God I dont have the misalign rear lights.

Actually to break the glass all you need is a proper tools that is made to break the glass, buy one and keep in the car within your reach.

So my pick will be security but not those thickest 9mm type, Maybe 5 to 6mm will be sufficient to me.

Tint shop will not install the security tint at windscreen. In case of emergency, they will break the windscreen

same like that house window grill dilemma... scared thief come in but also scare cannot go out in case of fire emergency

anyway - go for security tint for door windows, but not too thick. it still can be broken and some push, the reason for security tint is so that the glass wont pecah-pecahan but stick in 1 piece (that's why need to push). however, touchwood if really accident, the airbags inflation is enough to help u break the front windscreen (i read somewhere, it is suppose to do so), then u can cabut from front windscreen.
P/s: front windscreen is just normal tint, wont be security tint....

I think 30% is fine, still can see unless you feel that your vision isn't that good at night.

for the sunroof usually tinting shop will recommend very low VLT. I got mine for 5%, but still depends on the TSER value of the tint because the sunroof can easily allow heat to enter the car aside from the front windscreen

Mine is 20% VLT and I feel fine. Maybe not used to it at first, but you'll adapt to it. Even with 20% VLT, my rear mirror also auto dim due to so many ahbeng cars with super bright lights

For the sunroof, really depend on your preference. Need to consider night view too cause if open sunroof curtain at night might be too dark to see outside.

Hi there, I just did 3M Crystalline CR20 for rear windows and rear windscreen and last night it looks good but borderline on cannot see. I think any below 20% is too dark and not safe.

For sunroof, usually shop will recommend you take "building tint" as it's cheaper and supposedly same heat rejection (I got quote for ~RM200). I went for 3M CR20 for the sunroof and paid RM500 for peace of mind (whole car 3M yay ).  So far, quite happy with the heat rejection but only day 2, so let's see.

Somewhat agreed that one just need to enjoy the drive despite looking at the FC since I believe this will be one of the very last ICE (Petrol heads) cars we will drive if we could keep the car for more than a decade before transitioning to Electric drive.

However I still believe FC is equally important as some of you mentioned that your fuel consumption is 2x of mine hence imagine if I pay RM3k annually for fuel the other person will have to fork up quite a bit in the long run.

And honestly I did like to know at what average speed you guys managed to achieve with that Normal/Power drive when I am not driving slow by any means as I am able to clock up to 47km/hr (average speed) with 98% Eco mode.
