How many % TSER is your tint? (correct me if im wrong but JPJ limit is 80%? but realistically what is the "optimum" TSER that won't trigger abang polis kacau? )

I've been seeing a lot of good reviews on the 3M Crystalline, though I've never physically seen any of it before yet.

All those accessories available through Shopee/Lazada, local accessory shop normally will have much higher price compared to online, then for keyfob some are shipped from China takes a week or 2.

Regarding Tint, JPJ only care the VLT, but now darker tint can be applied with JPJ approval.

3M Crystalline is people's favorite when it comes to branded tint, but it may weaken Smart Tag signal like some reported here due to the tint is sputter type instead of ceramic, there is solution on how to counter this by either adopt RFID or have a small square cut without tint, In the end I took Irispro because it was rated 100% UV filtration for 400+ grade UV while they claim the commercial tinted only have 99% filtration for lower 380 grade UV, they conduct a test to me that film with 99% UV filtration for grade 380 only get like less than 70% of filtration if tested under UV grade 420.

Well the tint part you may visit their showroom for more details, the staff are pretty friendly and approachable, even their test kit used seems more convincing compared to some other brand like Raytech. So far usage wise I am satisfied with the price I paid, and 7 years peace of mind if performance dropped more than 10% during the warranty period.

does it block smarttag/waze/autogate remote?

Hi sifus, quick question. My sister booked her car one year ago. Nov. 2020. The salesman has kept changing the dates for nearly a year. From one month, to another month, to another month, to another colour for faster delivery, to another month and another month. Is she being taken for a ride?

Either the SA incompetent, or got too much customer where cutting queue or something shenanigans happen in between.

I bought UVPro 90 series which is Ceramic based, it blocks 100% 420 UV grade based on their meter.

So far tested Smart Tag & residential Autogate RFID all can pass.

Probably many cut queue.

So far to what I understand how cut queue works

1. Taking power Boot package will have better priority
2. Trade in old car
3. Outlet ability to secure more units
4. Kawan kawan (SA influencing power)

the limit by JPJ was VLT. and only windscreen and front window had rules, rest unlimited.
the higher the tser, the cooler your car is, but reflecting the sun heat. easy is find tint with 97-99% IRR rate.

the smart tag is using infrared sign as signal. if u select tint with 97-99% IRR, the tag will not work or is hard to read the sign. 3M had 97% IRR. based on my experience, tint with 95% IRR is the max to ensure tag is working but need to slow down

It is somewhat related, those can reach 97% - 99% IRR I think only Sputter type able to achieve that.. but maybe like u said lower performance Sputter type may be able to go through as well if the IRR is lower than 95%

Based on meter my Windscreen is 94% IRR just 1% shy from your said max 95%,
maybe that's the reason why it still can go through without struggles

just email to HQ helpline, no need change SA , the HQ will settle for u sui sui , remeber prepare ur copy VSO and booking receipt for them refer , after that only SA will call u for the updates instead u called them back
