Seen some ppl claim Blue mode more fuel consuming somehow probably feel underpower so stomp on the paddle more?

How's your FC so far with the blue? 8km-10km/l range?
*
Got people shared at fb. Smhow blue hv higher fc than yellow if mostly drive at town.

I think NA engine is more fun to drive than x50 in eco mode, so better enjoy the power of x50 in normal or sport mode.

I seldom use blue bcos no power. 😂 while sport overpowered (for me).

Oh cool! I didn't realize that Eco mode has higher FC. Sounds super weird that Eco has higher FC than normal. My average FC is 11.7L/100km since ~800km so far. Will reset after 1st service. IMO, Sports mode overpower except for quick overtaking or 0-100kmh drag race.

Let me try normal/yellow mode over next few days. For me so far, Eco mode not underpowered lah but I also let the ICC drive for ~50-70% of the time depending on long road or short lorongs. Dreaming to get fully electric and autonomous self-driving Tesla cars many years from today so today can only afford X50 ICC hahaha thumbup.gif

BTW, love the 3M Crystalline full tint so far. Anyone got PPF/clear bra or glass/ceramic coatings? I just put 3M ScotchGard PPF on door handles and front headlamps ~RM500 but comes with 5 year warranty.

Since we are in the topic of Fuel Consumption, I managed to get my x50 to return 6.7L/100km or Approx. (15km/L) with almost 98% Eco Blue Mode at 8000+ total Millage.

Also this is 100% Klang Valley city drive although there quite some months working/driving during MCO.

Your FC is better than Ativa, wondering how you can manage 6.7l/100km 100% City

If you drive very gently on Eco mode then it will give you best FC. But Viva and Axia always overtaking you tongue.gif

Congrats! That's vey near to manufacturer's claim of ~6.5L/100km. Mine is almost double at 11.7L/100km. I guess FC goes down with mileage and also lighter foot on accelerator. Did you find Eco/blue mode to save FC vs Normal/yellow mode?

Definitely agree smile.gif Very happy with my X50 so far. Pros are very good; cons are minor. Highly recommend to anyone looking for RM80k-140k range to consider; if they can wait 6-12months rclxs0.gif

Can I boast a bit. Yeah just to show that it is possible to achieve good fuel consumption but my driving style is a bit extreme as I drive along MRR2 there are many flyovers so while going on hill I slow down keep to max around 7-8L/100km but on downhill I'll drive without breaking and once I get the momentum u can actually achieve like 5.3-6.8L/100km with speeds of 110-120km/hr in the straights roads. Of course all is only achievable with extremely light footed.

My best fc is around 9.1l/100km.

At what mileage fc will start improving eh. Mine just around 1400km. 😅

Personally I did find fuel consumption improved quite a bit after like 4000km. However I did notice that fuel consumption was quite bad when I just gotten the car and pumping RON97 for a couple of weeks in April 2021 to join the Petronas Contest. Of course after that few weeks of RON97 now it is 100% on RON95.

Siao siao 5L/100km. Very nice smile.gif I am ok with whatever FC because I originally almost got Civic TC-P but didn't have luxury to wait 11th gen. So I just keep telling myself the money saved can pay for the FC hahahah. If really want FC, I would have gotten City RS Hybrid.. ~3-4L/100km or 1000+km per full tank LOL.

Anyway, as far as you enjoy the ride and FC within your budget then all the power to you tongue.gif Sports mode 100% of the time also can hahaha

Just with turbocharge engine, it need very gentle right feet to get great fc. Usually at highway it excel but suffer more for city drive

Somewhat agreed that one just need to enjoy the drive despite looking at the FC since I believe this will be one of the very last ICE (Petrol heads) cars we will drive if we could keep the car for more than a decade before transitioning to Electric drive.

However I still believe FC is equally important as some of you mentioned that your fuel consumption is 2x of mine hence imagine if I pay RM3k annually for fuel the other person will have to fork up quite a bit in the long run.

And honestly I did like to know at what average speed you guys managed to achieve with that Normal/Power drive when I am not driving slow by any means as I am able to clock up to 47km/hr (average speed) with 98% Eco mode.
