My problem is above 70km/h, depending on wind angle, sometimes have wind noise.

Tweaking the equalizer (if you know what you're doing) gives me good sound quality on my stock X50 Premium. Quite comparable to my PC speaker (Logitech Z625).

Bass is sufficient, not too thump-y nor too flat. Mids and highs are clean as well.

Maybe that's just me or maybe you guys have high audio expectations coming from conti cars, I don't know.

I'm into my 7 months of waiting for the car. The worst thing is, the SA didn't bother to update me on the car status and when I asked certain matters, he didn't bother to reply.  This is the last Proton for me.

Some tips from my experience and from my SA.

1. Dealer never know how many allocation they will get from Proton.
2. Proton do allocation based on list which dealer has an order. For example, dealer A has 5, Dealer B has 3, Dealer C has 1, the end each of them get 1 allocation each. So order from small branch which don’t have much queue.
3. This might be the most annoying point. Most of the car is preinstalled with the powered tailgate from Proton. Therefore, if you wanna take the package, you can get the car earlier.

Just what i know from my SA, been an old customer with this SA already, bought at least 5cars from him. He managed to help me get a FS within 2weeks after loan agreement.

I have to agree with you on this.  I walked into the Proton dealer showroom to look at X50 and this SA was present. I didn't choose him and never crossed my mind he is such an idiot and lazy guy.  It's too late to change after waiting for 7 months. I'm not urgent to get a new car as I have 2 other cars with me. However, this does not mean I can tolerate the long wait or worst, dealing with someone shouldn't be in the sales lines at all.

Yes, DSP is underneath the front passenger seat.
Then active subwoofer underneath driver seat.

Your question for blue wire, it is the ACC/remote signal, on default you can leave as is it without connection.
For me, I use this ACC for the active subwoofer.

In my past experiences with perodua or honda, they don't kacau when sending your car to regular services.
I think it only kacau you when you wanted to claim something linking the parts you have touched.

Of coZ for claiming purpose, we should remove it, knowing Proton knowing for not setting standards for their dealer and the dealer can be sub par level to avoid any additional works or asking for profit by telling you claim not acceptable.

You should install RT app or EQ spectrum meter on you phone or Ipad to check the frequency with pink noise to see the frequency from each or front/back speakers. I think IPAD have much better mic.

The settings I gave has tune down abit of bass to allow the speakers to give better clarity and also leave some of the low freq to active subwoofer to do the work.
You can try adjust freq 50hz to 200 hz range to high to give your more bass. You can try with rear speakers first and the slow adjust for front too.
I tried before that you can get really good bass from this, but sacrifying high end freq. and abit of clarity.
The active subwoofer that I'm having is Blaupunkt GTR-130.

Originally I was planning to DIY, but I don't have the right tool to pass the (+) cable from car battery thru the grommet at the  firewall, thus end up asking accessories shop and they charge me RM90 for labour works for the installation.
It is pulling a (+) directly from battery to active subwoofer. Then ACC/remote coming from PnP socket for DSP.
No wire cutting involved here, however question void warranty is very idiotic subjective matter for Proton.
At least I do have the option to remove if I needed.

Most accessories shop Penang will charge rm800 - 1000 just for DSP and another rm800 - 1k for active shop.

I buy online and DIY installation +own tuning a fair bit thus price reduced a fair bit.

I was getting from this seller at Rm400 with the PnP cable. Which I also informed him to give specific cable for Proton X50.
