imagine they update the smartwatch, and you lose some feature after update lol brows.gif

Possibly wont have any real update anyhow.
Look at X70 and X70mc.
Real update on when the car upgraded to newer hardware.

Technically X50 also remaining in Android 5.1 and more like downgraded with Atlas OS.

Welcome.

May I know if your new car running with ATLAS OS ? Just for curiosity only.

If yes, can help to check for the Hardware version no under Vehicle - Settings..

HWSX11A0119 H0200 is the new one.
HWSX11A0119 H0090 is the old one.

Thanks.

Thanks for sharing, your X50 is executive model, right?
Look like still running on older hw version.

yes, it comes with atlas preloaded instead of gkui

HWSX11A0 119 H0200

Thanks for the feedback, this is the FS or premium model?
I also saw another user in FB, that got his X50-FS last week with the new HW version.

What I'm hoping to confirm if there are mix batches in between where car came with Atlas OS by default and still using older HW version like HWSX11A0 113 H0090.
Thanks very much. notworthy.gif

Yes exec, old hardware? sad.gif

Nothing wrong with the older hardware version.
It doesn't mean it is bad.

I just suspected, Proton changing some of the components therefore differentiate it with different version.
The base has not change, this is still SX11A0, so it wasn't an upgrade.

To be honest, for executive and standard, there is not chance to downgrade at the moment due limited resources.

For FS and Premium, there are possibility to downgrade as I know, however with slight change in hardware, I think it is worthwhile to check further.

Mine is LG090, collected my Exec early Sept, Atlas pre-installed.
But I will still be hopeful that someday the sifus here able to make it downgradeable for std/exec variant. Hence I still keeping the carlink kit which I bought before the car arrived.
*
Sorry for not much I could do you.

We did try flashing exec before, the flashing was completed and able reboot.
However the smaller screen is not compatible with our file, thus screen resolution was not correct and screen is flickering.

Long story make it short we managed to get it back to Atlas OS as it is.
It is not always this lucky we somehow get it back without looking at the screen.

The positive news that I wanted to share here is for those using executive/std and got $$$$ to burn, if you are upgrading to the bigger screen then our solution maybe can work for you, this is taking the LCD screen from FS and put on Executive and flash it with FS firmware.

I'm not sure if anyone shared the bulb specification anywhere else.
I bought service manual for Binyue from taobao, think it should be same, if not similar for X50.

I know the translated sucks... if anyone want to make a proper table, feel free to do so.
Also, if you can read ching chong language, this is the manual.

The bulb spec. also in X50 user manual.
Page no. 194.

the downgrade means its done by entering fastboot mode method or another method?on my researching the ATLAS have AirPlay tcp/ip port for mirroring screen purposed but its garbage cant connect, unless put airscreen app..maybe in the future Atlas want add ap and aa i think..
*
I think the TCP/IP port that referring here is for QDlink,
It is clear Proton / Aco Tech will NOT add those 2 - AA and ACP at the moment.
You can see for X70 MC1, even they are upgrading the IHU not even considering AA or ACP.
ACO Tech and Paultan will tell you their QDlink is more superior wirh bla...bla..bla.

While the rest of car manufacturers including P2, Honda, Toyota, etc new car are offering AA and/or ACP
Proton still sleeping in the comfort zone. Soon will go downhill with their overseas markets.

This is due to Paultan will gladly make false claim report for ACO Tech.
Once I tried post in the Paultan to inform the writer it is not Android 10 as written, actual version is only Android 5.1.
I don't think they care about, as long as getting the job from ACO Tech to promote Atlas.

i think really what 'High/Low output' issue
*
High / Low Output, if my understanding is correct, typically refer to power on with the audio signal (Low Input) and power on with remote 12V line (High Input -either in cable in pink or blue color).
No very sure, any expert can advise?

Downgrade only possible if you are having:
1) FS or Premium model and;
2) Hardware version ending with 'H0090'.
You can check from Settings - Vehicle - About.

New hardware ending with H0200 or having Executive and Standard not possible as there no leak firmware available.

which battery are you going for? camel?

my battery at 20 months now
*
I'm using TukarBattery.com.my

The best they could offer is Panasonic DIN55L an RM370 including services. Not much choice in the early morning and later need to use the car. Did whatsapp Proton SC, but no response, I didn't proceed with Proton.

The tech came in but don't know how to remove the battery.
End up I have to YouTube and show him.

Need to the front panel by removing the clips and the remove the air filter by clips + 1 size 8 nut + Philip screw.
Then also need loosen the side panel by removing the clips to give space for hand to pull the battery.
After opening the air filter, you should see the metal bracket securing the battery at bottom ( yes at bottom).

The battery need to pull out horizontally.

Also funny here, that I used my powerbank jumper didn't work early l. Then the tech came in and using the same powerbank at it can start with it.
I think the different was I put the negative at the engine and he put directly onto the battery. Worth take note if you have a powerbank like me - 70mai jumper starter model PS01.

My battery also 20 months.

DIN62L / LN2 is better than DIN55L.
Should last longer.
