D7 or T7

Hmmmmm....

D7 has slightly better components.
Lighter by 1kg
Shorter travel
D7 is about rm2000 cheaper.

Trail Vs enduro

Cannot decide

I believe the rm6299  was the previous.
*

lol no, how do you come to conclusion D7 has better components?

D7 has 11 speed 5100 Deore, not 12 speed 6100. (means the cassette highest sprocket is 11t not 10t)
D7 has M200 budget brake.

That's true.... I overlooked some parts.
Was briefly looking at the pic. D7 got a deore crank and t7 using 510 crank. Didn't check out other parts.

buy your bike already? Majority entry level bike only got 1 size. If you are not too tall or not too short then it is suitable. Else you will feel uncomfortable if ride long time.

Some time it can be adjust by seatpost, stem, handle bar or crankset.

Shimano release new square cartridge BB to replace UN55 UN26

BB-UN100
user posted image

This one only 1 size. Hard to tackle the chainline.

BB-UN300
user posted image

This one housing had change from resin to aluminum.

Shimano claim that UN-300 had Better chainline stability with chain line stabilizer. Just add 1 rubber washer only to get this feature? The UN-100 also got add 1 more rubber washer.

Anyhow, cartridge BB extreme durable and have very good dust and water resistant too. People if wish to replace this type Shimano BB better alert on this news.

I think you need to add other essential tools like rear gear Casette removal tools to your list.

haha.. this one I don't have.

Usually I take off the chain and put into 300ml petrol by using the half cut engine oil bottle. The cassette I use old tooth brush mix with petrol to rub it.

The used petrol I will mix it with used engine oil and give to foreman by throw into used oil collector tank.

Last time heard you change from outer BB to square type BB, what brand BB you use? got affected the original chain line or not ? How the feel ? I really lack of this knowledge.

your new crankset is listed 110mm to fit the chainline? Else how to know the BB length if convert from 2 pieces crankset to 3 pieces crankset?
