haiz, no choice, I think have to find time to ask my bicycle technician friend properly regard using V brake with Canti brake lever. If put in, as long can apply some braking power, I will just cincai buy the RM10-20 China make V brake and be done with it. That old bike is use for slow casual Bangla ride lock everywhere type.

If I wanna serious exercise I got newer XT groupset XC hardtail for that, so no need serious braking power for old bike. biggrin.gif

You know why? Bike in this price range are selling in large volume and high demand in market but low profit margin. This is why always out of stock.

microshift is a good Taiwanese brand, the gear groupset should be fine.

But still if budget is limited I still think you top up pick that PSD6 bike if you can find one. TRS hottest also decent, i think the gear itself already half the price of the TRS bike haha.

btw,
TRS is actually local brand.
XDS/Crossmac is China brand.

Dont really need Raleigh brand at these budget.

salute your persistence.

Recently got 1 bike shop selling cheap Merida brand new hard tail 26" frame old stock with only 1 size 1 color around RM3xx~Rm4xx. So with the left over RM400 you can simply get all the shimano tourney groupset and SR suntour XCT or XCM fork and those china made handle bar + stem + headset + rim + tyre + seapost + saddle + handle grip.

RM800 ride a world branded MTB is not a dream.

I seldom direct introduce a shop because if anything happen later become blaming issue.

Sometime you need to find out yourself. I just provide another alternative suggestion so that you can explore more on it and make use the budget you have to get the best deal for it. Good luck.
