my car alarm was replaced with one that will lock door when u press the brake.. the alarm only cost Rm150..
okie then i went for my first car wash.. it works fine..

yesterday.. i had my 2nd car wash at the same place.. this is when it happen..
immediately my car door has no electric sensor..

the alarm dun work..
the door gun dun work..
the door light sensor dun work..
my clock wont work..
my ICE don't work..

wat is working?
my car can still jalan..
power window still jalan..
dash board display still ok..
tripmeter will reset everytime i first start my car..
air cond still jalan but it's reset everytime i start car..

wat could be the prob?
wiring? ECU?
i tot to look into it myself but cannot find anything..
been busy so no time to send to accessory shop.. maybe tomorrow..

My car brake feel abit tight although its not press. I had send to service center service it at least 3-4 times, remove discbrakepad and relocated as well as drum brake. After service in 1-2days can feel the brake is not depress, but after 2days, the same problem presist.
Just this monday i had send for service brake, they said my brake padal is too high, then they adjust it lower. Since yesterday i already start the brake padal same as last time bcome high as b4 service and tight.

May i know what cause the problem? is it brake pump failure?

My brand new Saga came with a malfunctioning air-cond -- blowing only hot air.

The SA led me to a service centre, where the mechanic opened the fuse box under the bonnet and pulled out 2 transistor-looking gizmos. The way he pulled at it looked like the whole part was gonna be ripped out. Then he just swapped their positions in the fuse box and the air-cond started blowing cold air. :\

Rattling, squeaking sound from dashboard, air-cond vent, absorber and stupid jerky engine and sticky gearbox that makes me whining for the next 9 years. Anyway, Proton = Root of all Problems = Piece of Junk

i have a brand new saga too! so far, not much problem. cheap, comfortable below 120kph, can hit 160kph, the steering wheel feels nice to hold, etc. the only problem i have is the build quality. my 3rd brake light suddenly stop functioning one day and after inspecting the fuse box and wiring and stuff, i found out that the wire's connecting the 3rd brake light is loose. luckily i can just plug it in back. it's no major problem but it could be dangerous, and they only need to pay more attention when they're putting the car together. they dont have to spend money or anything. and lately there's a recall for all saga to install something like "oil clip", im not sure. shows problem in the assembly line too, but at least they recall and repair it for free. and quite quick too. and one more thing, the engine noise and wind noise above 130kph will prevent u from even talking with ur passenger. damn noisy. but below that speed engine noise quite ok.

proton waja 2005 automatic, with mitsubishi 4g18p engine. warranty ended in 2007.

car completely shut down while driving. electrical problem. caused by shorted contacts in the transmission. burnt the wire harness. ECU damaged beyond repair. estimated parts (only) cost around RM 7,000+ for brand new stock from proton parts (bulk cost is the ECU, RM 5,900+). not covered by insurance

the culprit: the socket for the solenoid valves sensors shorted due to water accumulated in it. better be careful. keep it dry. sumbat sama silicon banyak2 next time

I owned a Saga since Feb, 2008. The engine noise become louder and louder, feel like driving my Hilux.
Knocking sound when ever the rpm hit about 4300rpm, change a new variable intake air manifold ( i don't know what that call IMFA?) still the same, technician repeat there is not necessary to do a Tap'Pat check? IKs it caused by defective Knock Sensor?

Button for power windows not functioning, changed.
Rear sensor cry like crazy every since I engage reverse gear, changed many time including the module, not working, only recently one technician turn the sensor eyes upwards and ok. Almost a year to solve this problem.

Changed front absorber on May 2008.

I owned black colour car. If it was raining the water stains will be seen clearly on the external door paint, I don't know why they don't include the Mud Guard?

Ant the raining water will also stays inside the door trims, when you open teh door you will see the water stains accumulate inside, so rear passenger has to becareful when alighting, else it will dirty your pants. I guess it was the design fault given too large tolerances for the gap.

Full tank about 380km mixed city and highway. No harsh peddling.

I wonder should I trade in for EXORA mpv?

wira1.3 gli owner...rpm more than 3.5...the warning lamp "check engine" turn on...i wonder what that mean...some say problem with speed sensor...i can't go more than 110kmj..

my saga1.3s have the following problem..
*air-cond compressor which cause the car shaking like a nut when the car in stationary
*left-behind door is jammed!
*window..sometime hang..need push up after used
BUT!! the main problem is it consume fuel so much..someone tell me due to it was a old car

I having a problem with my car ( perdana 1997 ) using an Auto
The Rpm is always at 1 or 2 when i start the car yesterday.

At first the car was accelerating by itself ( i didnt press the paddle) thn after that it just stayed at Rpm 1 if i dont press the the accelerator paddle.

Im not sure whats the issue. I went to a nearby workshop and they telling i need replace tuti ( seriously im not sure if im pronouncing it correctly or what that is also )its something on the top part of the engine. also it would Cost me abt Rm450 to replace it.

Does it got to do with a RPM timing ? im clueless and need to get it fix fast..... Please do help me if u knw the cause.... thanks...

hi there,i have this problem with my saga BLM 1.3 auto.....the engine just die when i driving and the battery light blinking.....any can help with this.....
