So after some time has past, does this CR1 is all round better than the NanoEnergy 3?

Nope, had NE3 in the past. I'd prefer NE3 anyday.

CR1 comfort wise is ok lah, but sidewall too soft i thought my car chassis was flexing and wet braking is damn scary.

I see... That's a bad news for me, cause I'm using 15inch rim and not that much tyres can choose anymore...

cc6 is not an all rounder. In fact it is very comfort oriented and not good on wet breaking and aquaplaning.

Xm2+, triplemax 2 and es32 are much better all rounders

That was solely based on my personal experience on CC6 vs CR1

Changed 4 tyres from Bridgestone Ecopia to Toyo Tires CR1 today (21/1/2022).
Size is 175/65/R14.
Workshop: Len Sheng Tyre & Auto Sdn Bhd
Location: Wangsa Maju
Price per piece: RM150 × 4
Tyre pressure: 220kpa
Tyre Rating: 82H
Other info: Only free balancing. No free alignment given, dunno why.

Driving Experience after 89km + evening heavy rain:
-Immediate impression was this a very very very quiet tyre in comparison to my previous BS Ecopia. Road noise barely audible at lower speed.
-Dry braking: No difference compare to BS Ecopia (new or old)
-Wet braking: Tbh, BS Ecopia is still slightly better in this category judging by my pedal braking force applied.

Will revert soon after clocking more kilometres along the way.

Verdict so far: Cheap & Good.👍

Unrelated point: Myself being a huge CR7 fan, the tyre imprint CR1 holds significant importance to me 😛

you remember the road noise when Ecopia was brand new years back ?

Noted. I tried cc6 as well and it wasn't that good. I got few skids on wet highway and has since changed to es32.

In case people don't know, I just wanna inform that cc6 is comfort and fc oriented tyre and are not an all rounder

Previously I was on NE3 also, this CR1 feels very very similar to NE3. I cant remember whether I had any problems during wet braking, but cruising on wet rainy roads is same like NE3 , both of them are much better than CC6.

Myvi 2018 1.3G 4At Owner here!!
Original tire size are 185/65 R14, Bridgestone Ecopia EP150, drive a week I feel not confidence when speeding over 120km/h, starting feel steering very light and rear of vehicle "flying"

I'm a salesman, for my requirement was more stable when driving on highway, this size 185/65 R14 was very good for fuel saving driving at city.

So I changed to 195/55 R15 & New RIM, tires are Ecopia EP300.

Used 50k mileage in 3 years, those Ecopia EP300 performance are great whenever dry & wet condition (before tire thread lower 30%)
Due of safety condition, I changed 4 tires to TOYO CR1 195/55 R15

Pricing are RM185/pcs, change 4pcs in one time, the tire shop given RM180/4pcs + trade in old tires RM5/4pcs, so the price were RM175/4pcs

So far run 13k km mileage in 1year 3 months, so far so good
Base on TOYO introduce CR1, was the NANOENERGY 3 "facelift", they heard complain from NE03 and directly improve on "NEW FACELIFT" CR1

PROXES CR1
Designed for a Premium, Comfortable, and Relaxing Journey

Proxes CR1 is engineered towards providing a safe, comfortable and quiet ride.

Deploying Toyo's own proven technology in tyre making, Proxes CR1 uses T-Mode and Nano Balance Technology that simulate real world conditions in its development process. As a result a tyre that is able to achieve its overall performance in silence is born - the Proxes CR1.

For those planning change tire to CR1, I recommend it
Affordable price, good handling, quiet & smooth
For this pricing , don't take to the performance use, kindly went to TR1 or more higher tire.

Rating:
Toyo Proxes CR1
8/10

Bridgestone Ecopia EP300
8.2/10

Before Cr1 19inch, what tyre you are using?
As I gain from one of the owner feedback, Cr1 is more noisy compare to Conti UC6

From MC6 to CR1, and quite confidence going through genting up and down in heavy downpour in family mpv.

And even with 370nm, barely getting any wheelspin even on wet road after rain. More comfortable but quite woobly compare to MC6, but at rm160 cheaper per piece compared to MC6, im satisfied.

After reading thread, i will buy this CR1 (rm330) vs Conti UC (rm380)and M Primacy 4(rm450)
Used nanoenergy before and was happy with it.
Just want comfort and quiet, I drive slow.

tyre size 205 45 17
