But my friend has been giving me doubts, saying that W850i is very bad and this and that and that SE had recalled all W850i because... Is it true about the recall and that the phone is bad? I am a lil worried now

W850i is good (for me) with large screen and awesome sound playback. The lack of AF for the camera is the cons.

I don't mind the lack of AF, just worried there might be some more serious trouble (My friend said a lot of trouble like W900i, can explode ). But... So far I didn't face any

ask your friend show you some proves before he make any comments..
after 8 month using it...i still can proudly said that my w850 is the best phone>>>>for the music.....the sounds really rock...

i agree with that i use around 9 month still perfect and it rock my world.
ask your friends to talk properly b4 say any comment did he use W850i?
if not ask him to zip his mouth.......... or elephant glue if he want i can give him FOC.

explode? if so, mostly cause by the batt...

since ur fren comment like this... tell ur fren dun drive or sit car la... coz car will explode or lost control ;p

I got a white w850i last month , sold. So sad ...
It's a nice phone, but the stupid cracked D-Pad always bother me when i saw it , that's the reason i sell it away.

Can experience users here give me some tips on how to take care of this phone? I know cannot use finger nails to press the down D-Pad or it will crack... Anything else I need to be careful about?
