CS advice to Change e-sim lolxxx

My home fibre contract is coming to an end this month. Went into a Digi Express Store yesterday to ask about deals on offer. They have this deal where 500 Mbp is free for the first 6 months then RM 139 every month after that which works out to be RM 119 per month average for 2 years. The guy told me to go to the main Digi office and terminate the contract. Then go back to him for this offer. Wonder why Digi does not offer this in the first place. Is this legal?

Ever since the merger, signals seems to be weak in many places including my home. And Unifimobile seems to be better now.

Since the merge, covergae is bad, even worse at office (Bukit Bintang).

Hey guys, I have a question about voicemail roaming.
Digi charged me for voicemail roaming while i at India, called up their CS and made report and they told me that voicemail roaming enabled automatically? They didnt even notify me about that, anyone managed to get refund for the roaming charges?

Literally got sms from digi saying they received my confirmation after i say yes to port out.

This has got to be intentional

Update: they say i need some credit left in my account, cannot be zero. Which is absolute bullshit because it will be burned because porting out.

So yeah, digi asks me to pay to literally leave their service.

Couldn't agree more, I thought that after the merge we would have reasonable price and services, who know...their logic is just worse than the Maxis. Damn, disappointment.

The line is active, together with active internet pass.
Called the customer service, said system issue, ask me to wait 24hrs.
Most likely at the end still failed to port out.
So while waiting, just wanna see what others did to port out successfully after facing such issue.

Mine don’t even have that option(5G booster) at all and I’m stuck with 4G

I'm fought with Digi staff in support care for past 2 weeks about this ridiculous 5G charges. Compensate for RM10 by bundling extra 60GB when base quota 50GB being wasted.
Also they removed 5G access option for share RM20 lines
Keep forcing me to subscribe new shitty plans RM80 for just 100mbps 5G speed cap? When I raise this question they asked me to subscribe T20 packages for uncapped who pay whopping RM260 ? UNLESS we rich.
CelcomDigi CEO thinks that their most better plans only offered to T20 just like Maxsheet yesteryears

for sarawakian cant beat umobile rm28 unlimited 5g/4g unlimited hotspot 😅 prepaid rm15 1000gb quota.

But the unlimited is area based,  Saw the FAQ keeps mentioning Unlimited with (Sabah and Sarawak )

Maxis taking advantage by increasing data and relaunch plans as merger between becoming worst for consumer
Now today morning Umobile increased 60 to 120GB for 38 and 200 to 300GB for 68

i am currently using RM40 (30GB) + RM10 (5G booster) just for 5G access , considering swtich to U mobile since today they annoucent RM 38 i got 120GB with all 120 GB 5G , since all 5G using same DNB quality and speed shall be same as DIGI, cheaper bigger Quota why not ? just too bad i got RM 20 (rebate RM10 for 6month) as sub line, and U mobile dont have sub family line package.

any one got suggestion?

CelcomDigi after merger seems sucks big... In term of network quality & plan offering...

Maxis / Hotlink is taking the advantage now to lure in some disappointed existing customers of CelcomDigi 😁

Celcom and digi have to return band 7 to gov after few years..
Hence, for new consolidate tower... The freq will be

20mhz of 1800mhz from digi
20mhz of 1800mhz from celcom
10mhz of 900mhz from celcom
15mhz of 2100mhz from celcom
15mhz of 2100mhz from digi

All celcom and digi users can use the frequency seamlessly..
But not combined for the CA

Mean a digi user 4G+ can be 15+20+10 from celcom freq OR 15+20 from digi freq

Now they got no issue for this but the path to core network is congested... Y? Becoz celcomdigi decided to reuse digi transport network back to core instead of build a new one or etc. This caused celcom users also rely on existing digi transport...

Consequences is... Both celcom and digi users having slow internet even though the signal is full 4G+

Those who.are saying no issue now then beware as ZTE havent swap ur tower (huawei for eastern sourthern and east malaysia)

My opinion it depends on the configuration of the tower... Not the brand of the tower ...

For eg... Some tower configure 32t32r and some 4t4r... Of coz 32t32r will be less congest n faster transmit phone request to /from internet

Now CDB issue is.... The throughput from backbone is seriously congested... And CDB slow to upgrade....

I even saw they just upgrade a route from 1gbps to 10gbps for serving 20+ sites.... Can u imagine the users under 20+ tower only served by 1gbps bandwidth before upgrade?😂

CelcomDiGi is now the most expensive telco in Malaysia.

Been going downhill since the merger.

For prepaid plans we're not going to see any 5G access below RM40? When other players already offering as high as 150GB hotspot-able data under RM35 with unlimited calls.

Is it time to switch? Been with Digi Prepaid for over 10 years.

Ok so all narow down to our need
For family guy it's important to have fibre at home to share with everyone

But the main issue is telco should just auto enable the 5g w/out a need to look into the telco package
Why need to differentiate ?
