None of the original switches on my kb were removed before they failed so I doubt its too loose. It could be an issue with the original outemu switches.

if you never removed your switches before, the cause is not likely to be switch sockets being loosed.

there are plenty of factors that can cause a switch to fail, so we do not know what actually happened. we can only suggest options based on what you told us, which might not even work if you give us the wrong ideas. for instance, by 'failed', i assumed it means when you press on keys, nothing happens.

I don't see where I could've given you 'wrong ideas'. In any case, there are quite a few complaints about the reliability of outemu switches failing on the popular Tecware and Kumara keyboards after several months.

i just meant we who wanna help might get the wrong ideas, then gave you wrong solutions, because there are many causes that can lead to switch failure.

They should be the same. I have experiment franken switch, Zaku stem with Blaecks top/bottom housing. They sound very clean, i do feel Tecsee nylon is more interesting then jwk nylon.

Here is a sound test on a gummyOring board

they have different nylon i think. maybe some days i will get some tecsee to try out.

more pcbs and gazzew's springs have arrived, but still not sure what to build next.

Zaku is not POM stem?
*
zaku has an extended long pom stem, hence it's louder.
