Professional is too tough for me currently.Only get few shots on goal..Damn they're good.

Buying the original copy of this game after playing the demo, I had left FIFA series for a long time... (I skip FIFA06 and FIFA07), guess its time for comeback.

But what's frustrating me is I'm getting disconnected when I play online~ grrr~

don't know if the problem from tmnut or something else~ but I can't use new control scheme using my PS2-USB controller hub PS2 controller.

I can't use right analog stick~ wuuu...

but I think FIFA08 is great, maybe because I didn't play it for a long time~

it's not much difference with FIFA07. In fact, some may feel it is not as good as 07.

does anyone feel delay when playing online? i do....
most of the people online use the super team barca

I want to play online, besides the delay, lag, and worst~ I disconnected 99% of the time!

I manage to play with one player from UK that use Barca (I use Manchester United), leading 1 - 0, and at 90th minutes, connection lost~!

Playing with a guy at UK is major lag.
Try limit yourself to playing against players around the Asian region.

The defense is taugher than before.......Only managed to win in Pro mod.....World Class they PAWNED me......

anyone konw hot to use the own build formation ? i just cant seem to apply it !

for this, go to my documents --> FIFA 08 and search for devdata.dat (it's in a folder but I don't remember which). Open it in notepad and search for a line that stated something like PS2 controller to USB or something, and copy the codes below it. This will be the one that dictate what button do what in the game. At the bottom of the file, paste this before "END". Now go to control panel and game controller properties, and take note what's the name of your controller, and rename the "PS2 controller to USB something" to the name of your controller. If ur using a cheap made in china USB controller, this will fix the right analog stick (well almost).

Is it just me or the World Class keeper is godlike? I can only win at the most 4-0 in world class. And also do you notice that strikers tend to shoot under the ball more compared to 07. I mean in 07 if you gently press shoot, the striker will just use the outside of his foot to stroke the ball into the net, but the same press in 08, the striker tend to lift the ball, and hit the keeper instead.

is it just me or? i havent let a player goal from penalty..conceded 5-6 penalties in the demo and couple more in fifa 08

none of them get past me...

anyone making any mods for this game?

it would be nice if we have something like the madden franchise editor, able to change the starting budget for mid table teams

some of them are a bit low....

i was hoping fifa08 wud have some better graphics aka nxt gen...but looks like same onli the graphics...not much improvement xcept for the AI difficulty....

also damn hard to score from outside penalty box ..keeper always can save ..wtf ...

keeper will move from the line faster now making the window to score harder, and the fact that strikers tend to scoop the ball instead of stroking it makes it harder to place shots

I used to play worldclass in fifa07 and find it pretty easy.
Now in fifa08, i find worldclass opponent and worldclass keeper almost impossible to beat.
lack of playing time?

yeah the more u play the better u can understand AI.....
the longer u play, the more info u know about AI`s weakness...
