i just bough fifa 2008, why the graphic same like fifa 2007 geh?
and the commentator sentences are also the same.
just like in fifa 2007, i fed up already,
1. when u shoot a very powerful shoot and the keeper dive to save it, the commentator say:- in ur dream, the keeper save it with ease.
2. When u power a lousy shoot, he will say:- great save!!! How on earth did he save that!

Don't hope EA will totaly change everything in every year..

Well... my best guess is that FIFA08 is more like a less buggy/fixed-bug version of FIFA07. Actually, i think it is. Whatever mistakes and bugs that were found on FIFA07 are now being fixed. So to say, FIFA08 is kinda like FIFA07vii. Most of the problems like obvious bugs from easy scoring through long shots, easy long balls to create 1 on 1 from defender long pass to striker, the obvious 90% chances freekick from outside the box aka soft-touch. The inability of the keeper to move during soft-touch freekicks, the easy goal shot from left of right hand side of the goal post etc. All the easy goals that were easy to be executed are now (at the moment for my case - almost impossible to score). And the AI of the computers seems to be 1 step ahead of the players most of the time and also not to forget the superman/spiderman-like ability of the goalkeeper to save point blank shots on world class difficulty for gameplay and goal keeper. So just take FIFA2008 as a challenge, it's a tough game so far now. So enjoy and be frustrated at the same time with the new and improved AI.

so hard to score, i play co-op as a single CM, after 13 games, score 1 and assist 1 only. and why my Xp always at 82 every match? is it the max already? i get 9.5 rating average. Cm shooting damn poor.

That one don have power bar, so you have to use your own feeling to guess what is the power.

i think for power, it's depend on how long the arrow key been press.
let me give some tips, score the penalty with placing shot (Q+D). easier to score. when u are the goalkeeper, watch the kicker head, as u could know which way he want to kick it. however for u to save high or low kick, it is up to ur luck.

u mean shooting penalty by pressing Q+D? then the power is depends on how long the arrow key press? if like tat.. i shoot shoot first or press arrow first?

You need to download roster update for FIFA08 to play online.

Choose the language version of your FIFA08 copy (mine is UK version) download the update and install it.

I experience very bad lag in online play, I already open all port necessary, but I think this had something to do with streamyx connection. Until now, I only manage to play one match without disconnect problem.
