QUOTE(MGM @ Jun 14 2020, 08:59 PM) Only if you buy a relevant pass to enable hotspot. Otherwise it won’t work. Or if you have a modified modem, that may work. But it’s a matter of time before that is blocked by the relevant telco too, like what Digi Postpaid 80 and 100 Infinite users are complaining recently with their modified Huawei modem. |

QUOTE(cfa28 @ Jun 15 2020, 09:11 AM) Your calculations are wrong as you have doubles counted i upgraded from the hotlink appYour rm30 top up is part of the Rm35 for the HUP35 plan You need to top up RM 30 for the 30 day validity and plus another RM5 Then you can subscribe to the Rm35 HUP paid rm 5 for the upgrade after that i realised, i was using basic internet 500kbps and add-on options greyed out later i paid rm 35 for the unlimited data+calls next month how? i top up rm 30? then buy unlimited data+calls for rm 35? confused This post has been edited by tahfeikei: Jun 15 2020, 10:56 AM |

When you too up rm30 +RM5, your credit will be Rm35 with 30 days validity period.
When you buy the HUP Plan of RM35, it will be deducted from your earlier credit which is rn35, so your credit will be RM0 BUT you will have the HUP Plan that also has 30 days validity and provided you also bought the HUP on the same day as your top up earlier, they have the same validity period. But with RM0 credit, you will not be able to buy any additional add on that is available such as daily or weekly high speed Internet passes Hope that is clearer to you This post has been edited by cfa28: Jun 15 2020, 02:12 PM |

QUOTE(westlife @ Jun 14 2020, 01:21 AM) rm35 fixed price then without the need to worry about extra charges for calls or data, that's the best deal. I'll wait & see 1st cos now have the RM18 for 30 days offer(3.5GB). Cheaper & I use mostly for internet anyway.somemore now top up has offer, rm30 top up gets extra rm5, just nice to activate rm35 3Mbps unlimited internet pass. rm30 per month nett price to pay. dun think the old plan can fight even. Unlimited plan doesnt include in validity. If I upgrade, later cannot go back to my current plan. Currently I can buy the 3 month or 365 days validity, old number. . My concern is if no more buy validity benefits when I upgrade to Unlimited. Asked Hotlink, no reply yet. Validity is useful. The whole MCO until 9 June, I dont need to buy mobile internet pass. Just used the free 1GB whenever I go out. This post has been edited by eaglehelang: Jun 17 2020, 04:20 PM |

Are you talking about bagus plan? If you upgrade, there is no option to buy 3 months/yearly validity anymore.
FYI I have 1 number on bagus plan, 1 number on hotlink fast 3.0 QUOTE(tahfeikei @ Jun 15 2020, 08:35 AM) yesterday i just realised that the old plan suits me better. yesterday i botted rm 35, then realised one needs to pay : fixedmonthly top up----rm 30(validity) unlimited data+calls-rm 35 total rm 35 my old plan monthly top up ---rm 30(validity) weekly 300mb data hi speed-rm 20(7day pass at rm 5 per week) sat+sun--free data 1gb total rm 20(usage) + rm 10(balance for next month/calls/sms) prefer my old plan This post has been edited by lambiskut: Jun 17 2020, 04:57 PM |

Already bought 365 validity and it lasts until September. FYI I have 1 number on bagus plan, 1 number on hotlink fast 3.0 fixed As I am not in bolehland now, will only upgrade the plan the later. The unlimited plan to be is perfectly fine. I was paying rm30 for yes prepaid unlimited data plan also. |

Does the Hotlink Unlimited cones with its own validity? For example, if I have rm35 left with 5 days validity, then I subscribed to rm35 hup plan, will I be able to use internet & make calls for the next 30 days or only for 5 days existing to my original credit validity? ZacYys liked this post

QUOTE(westlife @ Jun 18 2020, 11:19 PM) My data usage has always been around 1GB even before Covid19 but I can't switch telco. Reliability Maxis/Hotlink has been the best so far.Maxis>Umobile>Celcom>Digi (my opinion for my location) Reason why Digi is last is because at home no line. I think someone was using signal jammer when I was testing. I had no problem when outdoors. |

Is 3 mbps sufficient for mobile phone youtube surfing at 360p? Currently using digi postpaid 80 and normally don't utilize all the data (40gb normal + 30gb youtube), thinking of changing to this prepaid plan.
Not a heavy internet user, just want to make sure no lagging when watching YouTube videos. |
