i saw a video from fb ..they did compare and result is very similar

i tested on my pijot with some app..result for both mode was close as well.

sport mode adjusts kick down characteristic of gearbox, sensitivity of accelerator, and some even add sound through the speakers to make it feel sporty. more advance cars firm up suspension.

but on your everyday cars, they're unlikely adjusting your fueling/timing/boost levels. lol
