I mean for my kid sry... he used 30gb just in 1week, so this unlimited prepaid definitely can use 1 month hehe.

Unfortunately, ur kid(s) will throw the smart-devices into dustbin after reaching 50GB quota...

Nevertheless, 512 Kbps is good enuff for kid(s)... LOL...

Another gaming situation is, the Hotlink apps only allow RM10, RM20, RM30, RM60 and RM100 denominations. Don't have RM5 or RM3 or RM1...

So, the viable combo of RM30 plus RM10 topup (but still 30 days validity) is the optimum to subscribe to HUP35 with RM5 balance for other usages (eg. SMS, purchase apps, rewards & vouchers, or the best is RM5 for 30 days "unlimited" hotspots).

We may however search around Shopee for odd topup denomination but would not enjoy the HotlinkMu rebate/cashback...

Go shopee top up. Rm5 from there....

Hotlink Prepaid Unlimited has a FUP of 50GB only. It looks like Celcom Xpax Prepaid Unlimited is more suitable for your kid.

i'm on dilemma whether to convert current Hotlink Red to this Hotlink Prepaid Unlimited.

currently with the Hotlink Red, every mth i will take the rm60 pass - it is a monthly pass with 8gb data, unlimited call, unlimited red chat, and 10gb facebook.

while if prepaid unlimited, interested with the rm45 monthly pass 6mbps, however sacrifice the speed. though i'm not heavy high-speed-data user. or does the rm35 monthly pass - 3mbps would really that bad?

also, will this require new sim card?

Maxis/Hotlink is the most hassle free on changing plan where you can change to any Maxis/Hotlink plan, be it postpaid or prepaid, via calling in, plus you may use the same SIM card.

I’m been using it for many months , so far so good. Cuz I don’t stream high quality videos all the time. Very good plan for me.

You still can use the old sim card. I ported from Maxis One Plan to Hotlink and still using the same simcard.

But I am heavy user. 50GB will be used up within 3 weeks.

Yes. Capped at 512kb which is too slow for me to watch video. After renewal, the service back to normal. No lag.

Then you have a child discipline problem. Yes, this comes into parental responsibility.
30GB per week is atrocious. Even today I Zoom the whole day - clock up 2.3GB on my Unifi Bebas. And that's considered breaking my record. Normally less than 2GB on some days.

And I still can't quite figure out how your kid can clock 4.29GB day.
My 2 kids, with limit of few hours only per day - on Youtube, cant even clock pass 1GB.

Do we get any notification before the 50GB FUB quota runs out?
