This is the game telcos play with "validity"... very tricky if we don't understand how topups and validity work between each other...

End up, in the end, most PRE-paid users will have lots of credit balance in their account and may have difficulty to finish them before MNP-o to other telcos...

Fortunately, we can use the credits in our account to buy stuff with the Hotlink Rewards combo...

bro you first time using prepaid? if u reload 3 time RM10 in a day, u will get only 10 days validity. If u reload today they will start counting the validty from today regardless or how much in total u reloaded.

Another gaming situation is, the Hotlink apps only allow RM10, RM20, RM30, RM60 and RM100 denominations. Don't have RM5 or RM3 or RM1...



So, the viable combo of RM30 plus RM10 topup (but still 30 days validity) is the optimum to subscribe to HUP35 with RM5 balance for other usages (eg. SMS, purchase apps, rewards & vouchers, or the best is RM5 for 30 days "unlimited" hotspots).

We may however search around Shopee for odd topup denomination but would not enjoy the HotlinkMu rebate/cashback...

Stackable describes the way validity works in a prepaid network. That's not likely to change.

It's like you're asking "When can my car stop using petrol?"

It's better to reload on the last day of your validity in order to fully use your 30-day passes bought after reload RM30. That's the hassle of using prepaid because you need to remember when to reload, but with the advantage of SST-free.

u can topup anytime u want. but validity will start from the day u topup or follow previous validity, whichever longer.

As per ur previous post, the validity is until 29th March. Meaning, u may reload / topup on 30th March @ 3:01am onwards. Reload RM30 1st to enjoy the "HotlinkMu" rebate. Once received the rebate, can str8 buy HUP35 (if it is also expired on 29th March).

With this RM30 reload/topup, the next validity expiry date should be:
= 30th March + 30 days

I chose prepaid because I don't want to pay SST , and I get better offer than Postpaid. And I'm not a kid.
So what if its cheap?? Cheap is a win for consumers. Only some will grumble because speed sucks (due to speed cap).

You have a choice of unlimited or non-unlimited data (with higher speed / no speed cap)

me too. i was paying Rm200+ for 3 maxis postpaid line and now, i save almost 50% from this hotlink , at the same usage pattern...

I mean for my kid sry... he used 30gb just in 1week, so this unlimited prepaid definitely can use 1 month hehe.

sadly, yesterday retry RM35+5 unlimited prepaid plan
still night time max only 1.4 speed and not reach 3 as per plan
so meaning hotlink still throttling speed at night?
