The concept is pretty interesting. They invest the difference in your spending. Example - you buy coffee at RM3.10, 90 cents will be invested. If RM 3.40, 60 cents will be invested.

but RM1.50 per month will dilute your spare change, or even eat up all and end up invest nothing... shopback or buymore is better way for smart spender

Hi Anas Mahmood, here are some Investing and Economic insights:

I'm still holding. Invested close to their inception in early July 2020.

So far so good. I put in RM 6k at the start to maximise the efficiency of the fees and have topped up RM100 per month. I mainly use Raiz as a long term savings/investment vehicle, and the returns are quite decent.

I'm invested in their Conservative portfolio, which is 80% in Sara 1 and 20% in Equity 3

Drillz below. Idm sharing the amounts

I concur with this. If you need something Shariah compliant, consider Waheed.

here are some Investing and Economic insights:

Robo advisors are digital platforms that automate the process of investing and managing money on your behalf – powered by algorithms based on your investing goals and risk tolerance – with little to no human supervision.

So, what’s good about it?
No Emotions involved
Emotions are what make us humans (and they’re great), but they often lead to poor decisions when it comes to investing. Emotional buying and selling are often triggered by the market’s ups and downs. Warren Buffet once said, “If you cannot control your emotions, you cannot control your money.”

Ringgit Cost Averaging can be the best investment approach you can do by setting aside a small but regular amount of money on a regular basis. This clearly will avoid buy and sell based on sentiments and emotions.

With Raiz, you can set up easily to invest daily, weekly, fortnightly or even monthly.
Low fees
Robo-advisors typically charge significantly lower fees than traditional advisors do.

Raiz, for example, charge a simple fee of RM1.50 for account balance with less than RM6,000 (or 0.025% per month for account balance more than that). There is no sales charge, no withdrawal fees, and it’s always free to move money in and out of Raiz account!
Automatic portfolio rebalancing
Rebalancing portfolio to ensure that asset allocations are maintained even after markets move is generally time consuming and typically would generate some costs.

Robo advisors like Raiz help to monitor and rebalance your portfolio automatically at no additional cost.
Diversification
Robo Advisors often offer a diversified portfolio. This means investors have reduced concentrated exposures to a given sector, asset class, or investment style. It will spread and lower your investment risk which means you won’t be greatly affected if a particular sector performs badly.

Definition of the Week:
Ringgit Cost Averaging
Investing a fixed amount at regular schedule at your own pace and comfort regardless of the purchase price so you will get more when the price is low, and lesser when the price is high.
