the more i try to understand Raiz the more confuse i become
here is the question
Raiz said they will charge us 0.3% per annum management fee
Let us just say we invest RM10k into Moderate Risk which is ASN Imbang 2 Fund
From the Fund Fact we can see that management fee is 1% and Trustee Fee is 0.07%
So let us just say after 1 whole year the unit price maintain but we still need to pay 0.3% Raiz Management Fee (pay to raiz), 1% fund management fee (deduct our units to trade off) 0.07% Trustee Fee (deduct our units to trade off)
I dont see any advantage at all on using Raiz other than we save on Sales Charges
Sales Charges is 4% if we do OTC for Imbang 2 meaning we put 10k inside they will actually invest 9.6k and the 400 go into ASN pocket
End of the date the only thing we save is the Sales Charges and we still have to pay the 1% Fund Management Fee and 0.07% trustee fee annually regardless of fund making money or not

Yeah! At last somebody starts to realize the working concept of unit trust funds. here is the question

You're partially correct. The management fee and trustee fee are chargeable on daily basis and are already reflected in the daily NAV posting price.
The fund management, trustee fee and other expenses for managing the fund are lumped under a key parameter that all unit trust funds must disclose in their annual report. This key parameter is called MER (management expenses ratio). And of course, the lower, the better; meaning the fund is operating leanly and prudently.
