why i choose these 2 model is basically:
Sony HT-X8500: Dolby Atmos, price & compact size
Sonos Beam: Brand, review, price (of coz sony is cheaper) & compact size.

try a pair of bookshelf speakers maybe? imho they outperform soundbars twice the price, but if you have space constraint then it might not be viable

Apparently this Xiaomi soundbar is quite low quality, is not smart speaker, hence not addition connectivity, you need to manual adjust the volume on the sound bar itself or else connect to bluetooth which the sound quality is not good.since u already Xiao Mi TV... the Xiao Mi Soundbar is a good combination.. i saw before there are special Mi connectivity for easy use together... correct me if I wrong here... but Sony sound quality will be a notch higher compared to Mi... but not as good as the |

Thanks for the update.. Then I will recommend SONY.. lol~SONY speakers never let me down, owning those old HiFi and home theater previously.... not sure about sound bar... no experience with soundbar.. |

QUOTE(yeh_chiam @ May 29 2020, 01:03 PM) yeah if you have space issues then soundbars are the solution, in terms of setup, it can really be as simple or as complicated as you want, depending on what you're after. The 3.5mm jack or the optical output always works lol |

cant even do 2.0 bookshelf speaker?
soundbar really cannot and doesn't worth the money, unless you really really limited space. |
