Hi All, i'm currently looking to buy sound bar for my TV - Xiaomi Smart TV 4S 43inch, will use it for netflix mostly, was looking at these 2.

Understand that both is different level and price, but Sony one seem to have more feature (Dolby Atmos and etc) compare to Sonos Beam, and once you started Sonos life cycle you will tempt to upgrade and buy more speaker, which will spend much more down the road. Sony seem to be 1 off buy and just live with the quality as what you pay and what you get.

Was wondering anyone who owned either one of this can share their experiences.

i feel sonos too much hard sell. Bombarding their products to trash influencers making them simply make rubbish reviews.

Good input dude, i see all the review keep saying the sound quality is superb, and ask to upgrade more, get sub, get speaker and mention more on the apps.

Not familiar with Sony Soundbar, but I audition JBL 3.1 & 5.1 soundbar. Both JBL good overall nearly as a good as my THX system.

Quite curious, with your high budget why didn't you invest in a better TV instead?

When i looking for TV, i never consider about soundbar and audio enhancements. As the tv fit my requirement and budget, 43inch is the max i can go with my living room size.

But now when i watch Netflix everyday, the sound is ok for me, then i start thinking about upgrade the audio, to experience surround, atmos and etc...
