Definitely easier if it’s a tenant
They may move out after their contract expire
But owner is another different ballgame altogether
But you have to make sure if it’s really from that tenant
I can bet you
Sound can come up to 5 floors above you
You don’t have to on your mic the whole night
Sometimes there is a consistent pattern
If they make noise at 4 am
Then chances are it could repeat again
Unless it’s a tit for tat revenge
Staying here for 6 years, I roughly know where the sound can come from. I've been wrong before and from the mistake, I learn to correlate sounds better each time after a failed assumption. Problem with this neighbor started from day one when they moved in. They were unpacking and stuffs till like 2-3 am where I had to call the guard to stop them. Then it was puasa month where they stayed awake most nights. Nothing wrong with that but one would have to be more careful at night if that's the case. You can't just pretend that it's the day time and go about your business.
There's no consistent pattern but normally, they are move active the later it gets. Like now, there's no sound, nothing zip...I am sure they are still asleep given the time they spend staying awake..I can do a tit for tat and put an alarm in the room( those type that physically rings a bell and pulse it every 10 minutes ) or just a hammer against the wall or use a broom stick to poke the ceiling but I am not doing it.
I would love to stay up and run all sorts of experiments to get the sounds recorded but I have to be awake at 7 or 8 am for work daily and this is really impacting my focus at work as I can't get enough sleep to last the day.
