Not sure.... Can only confirm again once it reset. But meh... Even if the speed is like 100Mbps, YouTube will only use 3-4 Mb to load. Netflix 2-3 Mb. So i dont feel mucj different 🤣 i will use another month or so then will try DiGi

I set the VPN into the modem (damn fuking hard to find l2tp vpn now days, why huawei dont support openvpn) so don't feel the throttle at all

I’ve finally made the decision to get HUAWEI B818-263 but the international version / unlocked. Cause previously I also bought a B525 23a international version.

Wanna ask this maxis one go wifi can call or not , or just data plan only?

No, it does not have outgoing calling or SMS features.

No contract for SIM only, still enjoying RM30 rebate x 12 months for Maxis postpaid users.
12 months contract if you take the modem for RM1 (one time).

Am interested to see more people give info about the speed throttle after 300gb too, will be checking up on this thread

Does maxisgo blocks dns proxy too, like digi infinite?

Im inder throttle right now. You can search few of my post here showing when I'm above 300GB and under 300GB. If you would like me to test anything just let me know.

Don't have any knowledge about dns proxy. Care to guide and i will try it.

I used Getflix service to watch shows on BBC iPlayer: https://www.getflix.com.au/setup/dns-servers

Perhaps you can test it out, and see if using DNS proxy works in MaxisOne, pls?

If after changing DNS, and even Google.com can't load, then yeah, maybe Maxis also block DNS proxy.

Orait. I have try the dns from the page you give. And follow the guide for Android phone. Able to use google without issue, but unable to load netflix.

So i used expressVPN smart dns (took the dns setting it give for PS4) and i able to google and load USA netflix.



Test it on YouTube it seems smart DNS does not bypass throttling.

Dream on bro, maxis will NEVER do such a thing for customer. I’ve contact maxis today question them why did they throttle our speed so bad during 8pm-12am. They just give you cold answer is the MCO period reason 🤦
