That is different, people born into golden spoon family gave them the unfair advantage.

But comparing with people having the same background and everything, you don't feel anything when they higher salary than you?

The worst part is, now you are comparing between you having many years of exp against someone fresh.

So basically, you should be the one having the golden spoon cause you got a degree + years of experience while the other person got a degree and 0 experience while earning much more than you. Don't you wanna know what went wrong or what you should do to better yourself?

Also, I think TS is bullshitting so your RM3k+ salary should still be justifiable

It is ok to start off very low at 3.9k but it is important to make that career progression in the next 2 years. Can't be stuck at 3.9k for years.. imo depending on his skillset, 3.9k might be low if he is in the professional sector.

Then that is good if you can stay positive.

You are in financial line right? That is a bit low for someone in the early 30's

My cousin works in one of the MBB as a regional recruiter.

She told me that even NUS graduates are having a hard time despite being in top 10 but they could still get the job if they did exceptional on the case studies. They have an automated system to filter out all uni who aren't even in the Top 10 so local uni don't stand a chance. Even if there did invite the best of the best from local uni for interview, it is normally for bench marking purposes and you can't go pass 1st interview unless you are really exceptional.

Bear in mind that MBB recruit on a regional basis hence they don't have to take talent in every country every year and they don't really need new consultants every year  sweat.gif
