Hi,
May I know how do you fund and withdraw funds from TD Ameritrade?
Is it just using Malaysia bank to fund, and withdraw it directly into your own Malaysia bank? Or do you use offshore/Singapore bank?
Thanks.

QUOTE(SkyLimit @ May 19 2020, 11:32 PM) Thanks Labtec, may I know for withdrawal you also to Malaysia Maybank right? you can wire to any bank you want, ameritrade just helping with your wire transfer instruction and there is no fee. The exchange rate will based on your receiving bank and the bank or the middleman bank will charge you a fix wire transfer fee, just like your normal wire transfer.

Quite easy and fast Hi Stephdreamcloud, I have tried to find my newly open TD Ameritrade SG account using foreign Telegraphic Transfer via Maybank2U online but I am stuck at Transfer Details in which I have to state the purpose. There’s no way for me to select ‘For Investment’, it only allows selection of transfer to family, as wages or education service abroad. May I have your advice in this matter please? TQ

TQ I will pm u on the details abit later today because no time to on P.C. yet. There’s quite a lot of field to fill before the maybank2u auto log out so get all details ready. This is the details I asked from td Singapore in order to fill in maybank2u tt. U can try first. U can ask from them this doc if u want but they haven’t replied me for two weeks since my last email to them on the trade commission thingy I remembered once filled all in then easy to just click click. Got investment thingy also one. And there’s a blog online that blog about the steps too. Hope this helps
