Help me choose which brand of inverter ceiling fan is better

a) blade ( 3,4,5 or etc) - is there any difference in term of fan air flow?)

b) Power saving

c) Warranty and support (after sales service)

Currently that I hear people choose is Panasonic, KDK, Alpha and Rubine

Got 2 type fan motor

1. AC motor fan - all fan in the market is using this
2. DC motor fan - very new. Nobody know.

The different is
1. AC use 80W and DC use 30W.
2. DC more quiet

Other than that no different.

but if i check this review Eco Breeze EB-2228 Review

"The fan blades is pretty short though. Therefore, do not expect the wind produced will be as powerful as normal ceiling fan or wall fan, which has longer blades than this air circulator. After all, it is meant to circulate the air and best working together with nearby air-cond or ceiling fan, rather than blowing air like normal fan by itself"

and cons is a bit troublesome to wash and clean.

I never use bayu fan before, so can't compare.
Yes I am using this fan for my house, 4 units.

Thing I like about this fan is the lowest speed of this fan is really slow, because I don't like to have much wind blows at me when I am sleeping.

blink.gif I'm generally curious really does a DC motor consumes such little power.
Basically an Inverter works by generating DC to AC.
Then Power Source is AC, so AC to DC + capacitor then DC to AC again rclxub.gif

Ohh power electronics

DC fan has no inverter. It saves power by just being more efficient than a normal AC fan. That's all

I know DC motors are easier to control for precision and the controller is less complex.

In terms of rosbustness where precision is not so important like fan, cheap AC motor should be sufficient.
