Normal ceiling fan is 80W
You can buy dc fan at 30W. 100 hour is 8 unit vs 3 unit 1 unit is around 22 sen/per unit 1 day 12 hour RM7.02 vs RM2.64 1 month differential is just around RM4.38 u buy a rm200 fan vs rm 400 fan, u need 50 month to save back the differential This post has been edited by foohoa: May 17 2020, 10:06 PM |

QUOTE(pattleongkam @ May 18 2020, 12:56 AM) yap, best ROI in the best perfect world!!! this +1, usually it last 2 to 3 year only, not like the old fan that we can change a capacitor than it work againin a perfect world, the electronic component will stay in perfect working condition for a perfect optimum 10yrs, it will never go faulty for the next 10 perfect years.... but in reality mostly after 5 yrs above, once goes bad on the control board, they will chg to a new fan again, and again save 2400??!! more like a marketing gimmick to lure those who always live in a perfect world...!!! |

QUOTE(skyblu3 @ May 19 2020, 07:57 AM) Please calculate for me. I'm using Panasonic DC fan for the past 2 years. 30W x 24 x 365 = 262.8KW/year = RM57.64 x 2 = RM115.28My living area fan is switched on 24x7 because I have a dog in the house. How much I saved? 80w x 24 x 365 = 700kw/year = RM154 x 2 = RM308 RM308-115.28 = 192.72 now normal fan you buy RM200(consider higher class model) inverter fan you buy RM459 fan differential RM459-RM200 = RM259 RM259-192.72 = RM66.28 u still need 7x24x1 year to start SAVING! i hope ur fan still havent breakdown next year gobiomani liked this post

QUOTE(Mrsaitama @ May 19 2020, 08:50 AM) LOL those who said dc ceiling fan useless must be never use inverter aircond before. because of aircond non-inverter vs inverter the consumption was really big differentits 50% more efficient than AC, if ur house got 6 DC fan, u only pay like 3 AC fan. example 40w * 6 = 240w. (this is highest speed for DC fan, produce 23X rpm). the rest u calculate la, u use fan everyday, atleast 12 hours, if all eq in ur house is inverter, say example 3* 1hp inverter aircond, 1* 1.5hp inverter, 1 inverter fridge, 1 inverter washing machine, 2 inverter water heater, and 6 dc fan, and use 5 fans, 4 aircond everyday for 8 hours, ur bill will only cost around rm250 - 300. I use all above except the dc fan, bill around rm250. surely will use dc fan later for my new house its like RM120 for 1 aircon vs RM60, 1 year you might enough to pay the aircond price differential and inverter fan u just save RM5 per month and the fan price is almost double of the ac fan ac fan very long lasting, dc fan usually breakdown after few year, so it isnt worth at all gobiomani liked this post
