This month, the dividend received compare with last month is lesser[same amount per month]. Based on the calculation, it around 1.8%+.

So far love the idea from versa that it gave overnight interest when deposit. This is due to delay to appear on app. wont see this on stashaway. Plus for versa

What i am going to do is, match both stashaway and versa & see their dividend comparison.

so managed to invest via allocate plus.

whatsapp them the issue on friday - and they managed to manually open an account by linking to my PRS account. then took 2 days to update my mistyped OTP. just managed to invest RM50, see how long it takes for 1st transaction.

I dun care about dividend or what becasue UT dividen is useless. And the lifetime gain is preety not on point. Thats just the price difference isnt it.

The price update should be daily. But versa seem delay abit.

I now use versa only. Last return on the app mentiond fund give 2.46%p.a On website said 2.4%. Very decent.

Stashaway is slow.
Versa is faster in withdrawal.
Not sure about liquidity for versa. Going to test soon. It's basically T+1 day.

Account opening is very easy. All from app.

I  checked out StashAway  thread, opened Account,i used desktop website.
dumped RM50k ,max from Jompay,
payout monthly, calculated daily not bad

T+3D, means on Thursday 25.2.21 i can see my deposit online?

I noticed StashAway used Citibank, so for faster time to receive the withdrawal money which bank (other than Citibank)
is better, any one?

(My experience with eUT PMMF, Maybank is the best, consistently received money by 5.00pm same day)

Nope . I received overnight interest when posit on weekday. Just that not a lot compare to weekend

Low interest rates attracts more players into the money market

ETALING JAYA: The prevailing low interest rates have attracted more money market funds (MMFs) into the domestic market.

Based on the Lipper data, the total size of these funds currently stands at RM110bil. This represents less than 10% of the total deposits market.

The time is ripe according to analysts for such funds to gain prominence in the market as MMFs provide higher returns than deposit rates amid the Covid-19.

They expect the key benchmark interest rate – the overnight policy rate (OPR) which determines the cost of borrowings – to be cut by at least 25 basis points this year, hence a lower deposit rate. This augurs well for the pick up of these funds.

Among some of the players making headway in the MMF space are Versa, Stashaway and Touch ‘n Go. More are joining the bandwagon, one analyst noted.

Currently using both. Have put in roughly equal amount of money to track their individual performance.

If you mean transfers between bank account and Versa/SA, so far I've never gotten any warnings from bank, but my bank is used to large sums of money suddenly moving in/out my account 😅 I think for banks they mostly want to find out your source of funds and that they're legit clean money (not from criminal activities/money laundering/terrorist financing), so if you transfer from SA/Versa they usually won't get red flags because they're legitimate entities registered under Malaysia Securities Commission.

in that case SA better, while waiting for Versa to verify my newly opened account, i dumped more and more to SA.

versa pretty fast in buying into the funds but then it will be reflected abit slower on the app

took around 2 days to buy into the fund and then another 3 days to be reflected in the app. as long as buy into the funds d i dont really care when it is reflected in the app actually.
