First of all izzit your phone originally warranty under Sony Erricsson/T-Choice/Midlands??? Did you bring along your Warranty Card???

Nope.. Our side here are different... Zitron/Avaxx under NPC... Midland/T-Choice under Sony Ericsson...

I just bought a Nokia 3120 (AP Phone), i checked the IMEI number and it matches the one on the phone. Checked the Battery and has the holographic sticker on the battery. Didnt check the charger yet, will do that when i get back from work.

Also, I checked the back of the phone and it has a Telstra Communications sticker. Other than that, I didnt get anything else but the charger, manual, phone and the warranty from the shop. Is there anything else I should be getting or check if its a real "AP" phone or not?

As far as the Warranty Card is under Telstra Communication and the there dealer stamp on the warranty card and all your accessories comes in the box... So nothing to be worried buddy... It is a REAL THINGs

My dog decided to take a bite on my Nokia 3230 (AP set from CSL) the other day. There were scratches all over the screen. Took it to the nokia service center in Penang to change the cover and they said that if they change the the AP warranty will be void. So i decided not too but they wanted to charge me RM25 for not doing anything. After much debating, they agreed to waive. Is there any way of changing the cover/screen without voiding the warranty? The phone is just 3 months old.

maybe you can go back to the shop where you bought the phone and ask them. You can try CSL service centre though.

For Nokia Center whatever phone not under their warranty they will charged minimum fees for inspection...

There is no way for just change the screen only, it is attched with the housing, the best solution have mentioned by mustang bring back to the place where you purchase...

Recently "KASTAM MALAYSIA" are having opeasi on AP Set, so most AP phone price increased like hell... Heard that in future there is no more AP Set in the market, only Original Set are allowed to sell...

What you guys think about this???

hmm... then maybe the price for the Ori will go up also la, due to higher demand from the public. But it's a good move as the consumers no need to scared about the phones warranty as it's from the original distributor.

Yes, original phone price incresed as well... I went to supplier take stock today I was shock that original phone hike a lot even older model involved too!!!

Some how or another water set will make their way back into our shore again.
Nowadays where got real AP set anymore.
9/10 never pay tax. Do you call those taxless phone AP??

Yes, most of the dealers in KL now have increased the price of AP & Original Set.. It makes our life difficult...

Well, if Zitron or Avvax is over your budget, can get CSL sets... 15 months warranty. Warranty cover around Malaysia.
