ap set is another company bring it from oversea.. some set is recon set from oversea.. so you can find if ap set is from singapore, thailand or other.. ori set is from malaysia.. ap accesories more is grade aaa quality. no 100% ori.

As far as i concern,Nokia's authourized manufacturer is Zitron,Avaxx and Sapura....... bravo.....

Some AP companies do carry Samsung phones. Well, the least AP sets in the market are Samsung and LG.
No, AP sets do have warranty card, else how are you going to claim for your warranty?

need some help here, gonna get a nokia n78 soon and it will be an ap set, my question is how do i ensure that the 2gb card supplied together is ori 1 and not replaced. This is because nokia ship the nokia maps software in the memory card.

Usually for AP sets, memory card comes in bundle; you can't claim straight warranty for the memory card manufacturer but instead from the AP companies. Bear in mind, some AP companies do not give warranty coverage to memory cards.

No, since it is AP sets, you can't send back to the service centre but only to the shop/company you are buying from.
If you are getting from Labuan and the company you are buying from has branch only in Labuan, then you have no choice but to send back to Labuan for any warranty claiming procedure.

Yes, that should be fine and make sure the stickers in the phone are not torn or removed. No, not necessary because most of the AP sets' IMEI does not match with the box. If it matches, then you are lucky.

I just spoked to a father of my fren...

He told me that AP and ORI set are only differentiated by the STICKER...

ORI put their respective logo sticker and ORI put their distributor logo...

When shipment came from NOKIA worldwide... ZITRON will take all...

Then ZITRON sell to AP Distributors..

AP DIstributors sell to AP Dealers..

AP Dealers sell to Customer.. (4th customer)

If you bought ORI Nokia.. you will be the 3rd customer ie NOKIA --> ZITRON ---> YOURSELF

So the quality is the same just that ORI can service at all NOKIA service centres....

Anyone here with the knowledge please comment on the info i get here..

You can claim straight from the AP company which is located in Lowyat Plaza or send back to me and I help you to claim.

There are no major quality difference though because it's the same phone as of the originally distributed phones. There maybe some but it's not very significant..

I am using a AP Nokia 5610 XM currently. There aren't major problems with it though.

what are the minor differences.... actually can anyone lsit down all the difference of AP and ORI from top to toe? then we dont have to strugglo to ask coz different people have different answers... anyone can come up with one conclusion???... thank you...

Just warranty coverage is different.

AP sets cannot send to respective Nokia, SE, Motorola, Samsung, LG and etc. service centres for warranty claiming procedure.

Other aspects are the same.

Yeap yeap that's the main thing.

Beside if you wanna have it fixed at the respective service centers it will cost a lot more.

if the IMEI number matches, will the accessories be fake? even if got sticker ... can the hardwares inside be stolen?

i just got some info to ask you guys..
